Holy cow, this really works!
My husband opened a bottle of wine with this on his first try. It took me 5 tries to get it right. There is a technique to using this. My right hand holds the electric opener on the bottom button while my left hand holds the bottle and bottom half of opener. Once you start, keep the bottom button going until it stops on its own. This will take about 40 seconds. Then when you pull the electric opener off the cork is totally off the bottle and is in the electric opener. Use the top button to remove the cork from the opener.

My favorite gift for myself and friends
This is my go to gift for any wine drinkers. Easy to use -just keep the down button on when using on bottle and only use the up arrow for after the cork is removed from wine and you just need cork out of the machine. It's affordable, lasts awhile, takes up very little space on your counter. Best gift to give to new homeowners, birthdays, and just for fun.

Packaging Is Strange
I bought this for a wedding gift off a registry. It comes in a slightly large cardboard box with absolutely no Oster label on the outside or words stating anywhere what it was. I honestly felt it had been repackaged. I returned the 1st one and reordered in hopes that I would get something that looked like original packing and makes sense to wrap for a gift, but the 2nd came the exact same way in a plain mystery box.

I liked the way it looked. Sleek. The only problem I had was that it didn't remove the cork on the first try. I thought it was an operator error, however, this has been the same after opening many bottles

It takes some practice to keep the bottle from spinning but it does the job and nicely ejects the cork when done

Gamechanger!
