The actual handle is plastic which I'm a bit disappointed by, but otherwise quality.

So this was what 3 or 4 hundred dollars? It's part of the delta system I Ala carte set up in my bathroom. Every other piece was nicely finished high quality smooth action metal construction. This for whatever reason is made out of super cheap plastic for the top handle (the rest is nice quality) the slide of the rod isn't super smooth and chatters a bit as well when trying to move up and down rail. The water pressure and 3 different spray patterns are nice. 1 is normal. 1 is so aggressive and concentrated I wonder it's ultimate intention. ("massage"?) And one is like this misting trickle that is absolutely ppintless. I don't regret my purchase, but I really expected something more substantial especially given all other pieces from delta were infinitely higher quality. If I could of paid $150 more and had it be of the same quality- mid tier quality and mid-upper tier price.

Must have in Rain fall style shower

4 stars for value for the money. Very expensive unit. Worth it if you use it. *Dont forget to purchase the wall elbow. This is not included with the wand and slider rack. I honestly wasn’t sure how much I would use it since I haven’t ever had one. But with the rain fall shower I think it’s very useful. *** I actually use it more for something I never thought about.... Its perfect for spraying the walls or soap off the floor into the drain. I really do love it for this and I never even thought about that use for it before. The drain system I have in my shower has the drain along the long side of the back wall. It’s cover by tile and the water drains through the grout line. The wand is very handy to push any debris or soap into the drain.

Overall good water flow

We just remodeled our master bath and used these delta products. We use this in conjunction with a rain shower head. Overall this hand held provides strong flow from 2 of the 3 settings. The 3rd setting provides very low flow which would be fine if you were rinsing the shampoo from an infant but not at all useful for adults. But I really don't see the need for more than the two other settings. It seems well built and feels solid. The hose is made of metal rather than cheap plastic and is fairly long which is useful to rinse down the shower walls after bathing. Very happy with this product so far.

I cannot say I like this part of the shower system. The spray nozzle is made of cheap plastic and the spray is so hard that it bounces water off of you and then ALL over the place. I normally clean the tub with the hand shower nozzle, this cannot be done because the current is too strong. The nozzle only has 2 speeds, hard and harder. The rest of the shower system is well-made and looks very expensive, this part, however, I could have lived without. UPDATE: I gave the unit 2 extra stars because I have had time to find uses for the powerful spray from the handheld piece. It is great for rinsing shampoo and hard to reach places. Still, I wish that the material was more substantial and that the hose was 12 inches longer. And, if OFF counts as a setting, then yeah, there are 3 settings.

Already Used but Purchased New

We actually really do like this shower bar! However, when you purchase an expensive shower bar you should not receive a product that has already been opened and taken out of all of the packaging! You should not receive returned parts that have not been appropriately repackaged or that have other peoples finger prints all over them when you buy something of this quality! I am so disappointed overall in amazon and the fact that they would even do this!

Poor quality.

It looks good but the quality is poor. The handle is cheap plastic and the black finish is Peking off of the hose. For $330 I expected a LOT better quality. Do not waste your money.

Do not spend your money....

It was installed professionally; it looks gorgeous, but the shower head is not good at all. The video misleads the buyer in selling a good shower experience... no so... Out of the spray, I can only use one! Too expensive... not worthy.. I had to buy another shower head to replace the one this comes with... I do not recommend...
