Learn how to adjust your belts before complaining about fit

I almost hurt myself laughing at some of the 1 star reviews. Mowers have tension adjusters so that when you put on a new belt, you can loosen the tension a bit. This belt has great grip, and as mentioned above, once the tensioner was adjusted properly, fit perfectly.

Direct replacement

My Poulan mower has a sticker on the back of the seat with common part numbers. I ordered this belt according to that number and it fit perfect. I don't know yet how long it will last. The deck has new blade shaft bearings and if this belt lasts the rest of the summer I will upgrade my rating to five stars.

It looked good and appeared to fit but it broke during the first mowing and the deck had been rebuilt put the old belt on and it worked ok.

Maxpower Deck Belt

This Maxpower belt is a direct replacement for the OEM part. It is of equal or better quality. I had no problems installing this belt on the machine. The best thing was the price. Amazon's price was 1/2 of a local lawn equipment supply store, and several other online retailers. Great packing and quick delivery. Very satisfied with purchase.

New life to an old mower

Another good quality belt. I put it on my old Craftsman 42" which still had an older belt on it. The blade engages much more quickly and quietly. It also doesn't seem to bog down as much in the thicker grass areas. I'm happy with it.

Too Short! Broke after 8 weeks

This is marketed as a direct replacement for my mower. The belt would never fully disengage (too short). I thought, oh well, no worries. Until it broke after about 10 weeks of light use. Conveniently two weeks after returns are allowed.
