S/M is Large

It's really cute, but the S/M size it much bigger than I anticipated. I have a 6 lb. chihuahua and the chihuahua in the picture is a bit larger than the average chihuahua. The whole "ACME" part of the costume ran the entire length of my dog. The straps have a large area of velcro, so they are meant to fit many sizes. 6 lbs is just a bit too small.

Cheaply made, doesn't stay on without adjustments

Cute idea, but very cheaply made. It only says "Acme" on 1 side. The attachment strips have just a small velcro tab. I had to safety pin it to make it tighter and wrapped the leash around it to hold it up. The fuse is attached on a wire that is sewn to the end. However, the weight of the wire makes it hang down so it doesn't look like a bomb. I pushed the wire deeper into the bomb & secured it better with another safety pin to make it stand up more. Also, the head of the bomb kind of looked a bit phallys. Wish it was made better. I ended up throwing it away after halloween. I did like the overall design idea. I like that it attached similar to a harness which my cat doesn't seem to mind wearing.

Fun Costume

This was a wonderfully entertaining costume. We attached it our long haired chihuahua--all 10 pounds of him. Our 30 pound chunk-butt French Bulldog thought it was a plush toy. She grabbed that rocket, with the little man attached, a commenced dragging it all over the house. In a house of all hardwood floors, the chihuahua laid-down and went along for the ride. They both seemed to enjoy the heck out of the experience. We have not laughed that much in ages.

Velcro didn’t hold like I expected.

It looks like what I ordered, but the Velcro straps are pretty flimsy and didn’t stay on very long.

Ok but needs to be smaller n modification

As all the reviews say, it runs large n slips off...we attached it to our dogs harness to stay better but still slipped

Runs a bit large

Cute concept. Item was a bit larger than I had expected.

Cute idea, but...

This would be a cute costume, but it doesn't quite work. The little rocket isn't sewn on the straps in the correct way to make it stand up. It kind of falls over to the side, and it's not firmly stuffed. The straps were about 2 feet too long for my dog, but even after cutting them way down, the straps slipped and the rocket went over to his side. I tried tacking the rocket onto the straps better, but it still tipped over. I haven't given up on the costume yet, but it will need quite a bit of alteration to make it stay up while my dog is wearing it.

Great costume!

Very cute, exactly as described! My dog found it quite comfortable. The "tail" does get a bit wobbly but that usually just means it needs to be pushed back in.
