Decent single-use costume

The costume was decent. I like the look of it (it's hard to find a Jasmine costume with a covered stomach) and I got a lot of compliments. The fit was a bit small. I'm 4'11 and about 107lbs and I usually wear anywhere from a 3-5 pant. The length was a bit long but with the elastic cuffs on the pants it wasn't a problem. The chest was a bit loose (as expected for me, I'm a 34A) but the hips were a bit tight (I'm 36.5" hips, 28" waist). I had to very carefully pull it over my hips, once on though it was quite comfortable. The straps liked to fall down but that wasn't a huge problem. The quality is low. When I got it there were already some pulled threads and the seams rip easily (see pic). Also some shoddy looking stitching on the straps. I wore it for about 5 hours for an orchestra concert (so about 90% of the time I was sitting) and had a nice rip in the back by the end of the night. Thankfully it was only the sheer outer layer. Overall, I'm pleased with it. I got it on sale so I feel it was worth it, even though I likely won't be able to wear it again (I doubt I can fix the rip). If you need a nice costume for one night (and don't have a big butt), then go for it. If you'd like something that will last, find something else.

Not for women with wide hips!

The outfit itself is pretty, great color. I’m 5’2” 120 lbs, normally a size 2 or 4. The opening to put it on is the same size as the waist so I actually had to cut it because it wouldn’t go past my thighs! Once I cut down through the mesh it fit fine but then it tore all the way down the back over the night. The costume would be great and would last longer if there was a zipper on the side instead of the way it’s designed. Overall, it did work for the night and was a hit, but I feel bad adding to the single use costume issue. Would’ve loved if I could have donated it after.

Sewing needed

The costume is very nice and the size is right HOWEVER there’s no way to put it on without cutting more the opening. Thankfully my mother in law is a good sewer and added a zipper in the back. So my party would have been screwed if she wasn’t there…good luck with your purchase!

So many compliments!

I received so many compliments on the costume! It did smell bad when I received it but I hand washed it and dried it outside and the smell was gone. I’m 5’1 , 112 pounds and it fit perfect! I had no problems with ripping of seams or tears like others. It’s a great costume and the most modest for Princess Jasmine. Highly recommend ????????????????????

Not what I was expecting

The picture of this costume is very misleading but she’s probably a smaller size than me. I ordered up just in case and it was too big but I did not like how the belt sat on my stomach and the Velcro in the back is not super secure
