Be careful, don't flash little girls.

Looks pretty good. I'd recommend making lots of structural improvements before heading out of the house in this thing. Especially if you're going to be around children. Otherwise you're likely to find yourself on a registry and obligated by law to introduce yourself to your neighbors every time you move house. I'd also strongly recommend that you not go fully authentic and instead wear some underwear under the kilt. It seems that the buttons on the kilt were sewn on with cotton candy and will decide to let loose right as you're supplying an 8 year old girl with her well deserved treats while her her father (a large man with very little sense of humor, mind you) looks on in horror. Also the sporran was attached to the kilt, not the belt, but at this point that seems like a minor issue.

Boyfriend used for Renaissance festival-- Loved that everyone picked on him for looking like a Catholic school girl-- very entertaining :) He did mention something was weird about it... maybe it was the belt? I can't honestly recall, but I think it was the belt- smaller or less sturdy than the rest of the outfit...and the adhesive for the sash was not of super great quality either (we had to resort to safety pins the first day of wear) But overall, everything held up quite well.

Disappointed

The product was way too small. the pouches fur was coming off; the buttons were barely attached; the shirt fit tightly but The Kilt was way too small; I'd say I give it 3 star because the product looked exactly like it was advertised; the packaging was pretty well and the price was pretty good I was able to return it fast and I got my refund instantly I was pleased with that.

poorly made costume

this costume was a nightmare I had to sew every button again on shirt cause the all fell off as I put the shirt on 4 times to get the right look. the belt was plastic and it was too big and had to paper clip it to stay on my waist . also 1 of the buttons fell off kilt also and had to sew it too and the hat was very tight on my head but had to make it work

good looking but huge

good looking but huge. Had to get it cut significantly. I am 5'8" so not a big guy but info suggested this was a medium.

Lots of Value For "Mere" Costume

Purchased for my son's school event, and he has continued wearing it from time to time even afterward. While it definitely is thin costume-quality material, when everything is put together it presents very well and looks like the real thing.

Exactement ce à quoi je m’attendais

Superbe ensemble qui ne fait pas trop « carnaval ». La qualité du kilt est bonne et donne un effet laine. Attention à recoudre les boutons de suite car on les perd très vite !
