I think it’s a fault in the design of this particular type of underbust corset, because a friend of mine had the same problem on a totally different one. Namely, it is fine if you lay the corset out flat, but if you put it on your body, the middle part of the underwires fight each other for space and stick out because the corset is not designed correctly to lay flat when it is actually on your body.
