Great unit all around,But.
Great unit all around, well made and well thought out.... except for one major problem. The buttons are very sensitive, and the unit needs to hang completely outside one's clothing ...or it may stop counting, or change it's settings (disaster !) . While working in a professional bakeshop, I preferred to put this in a back pocket, or under the apron , rather than swinging round. No, no no....don't do that. If your working at a station, and can just lay it on the bench, your fine. Some time later now, I still like it...for it's simplicity, and good quality for the money. BUT....it needs a lock button !, so it stays at home on the counter.....For the production kitchen where I work....I've found the Thermoworks TimeStick, to be the best of the lot. It has a lock button, and actually, I don't use that lock button much, as the unit is so stable , I can wear this anywhere ... in a pocket/ under apron, and the settings DO NOT change unexpectedly. Get the Time Stick, and search no more.

i threw it away after a week
cant hear it in a commercial kitchen with the noise, stopped working altogether after a few days. now i use the timer on my phone

IF you wear it around your neck and keep it close to your ear you can almost hear it. It does continue until turned off- a very desirable feature. I used it twice and found it adequate for my needs but definitely not worth the price. Went to use it a third time and it doesn't work at all not even with a new battery installed I've had it too long before discovering this to return it so into the trash it goes

Buttons are way too sensitive, but otherwise works as intended and tone is sufficiently loud enough even when covered by apron and near large amount of running water from a sink faucet.

The neck cord is great and the control system is very simple
I had one of these for 20 years of weekly use and it finally died. I was ecstatic to find out it still is available. The neck cord is great and the control system is very simple. This is a great little time.

It’s a life saver.
I use this to time CPR at work as a paramedic. Works well hanging from my neck and it’s easy to use. I’m quite happy with it so far.
