Acest covor măsoară aproximativ 24 de inci pe 36 de inchi și are o bandă de legare neagră pentru a ține multe straturi împreună. Gave me results - fast!

This product is awesome and I very happy with the results! this was my first winter with my koi pond. Because of it's kidney shape design and varying depths, it's hard to get exact water volume, but we estimate it to be 10 to 12,000 gallons. After the ice melted, I went from crystal clear water to a bad case of string algae in a matter of two weeks. I tried the spheres and Blast which worked really well for me last year when water started to get bad, but it didn't make a dent in the conditions. I used a granular algaecide which got rid of the string algae, but then I had very very green water. I tried new filter media, was cleaning out the filter every weekend, but it was only getting worse. The water was such a thick green that I could not see the fish even a few inches from the surface. My pond was not something I could enjoy any longer and the time I was spending on it was getting to my breaking point. Did some research and read where that algae that creates the green water will pass right through filter media because they are just too small. Some UV lights were just over the top in price and this model was so reasonable in comparison I was concerned it wouldn't do the job. Then there are sterilizers and then clarifiers, but I decided to go with this 36 watt clarifer. Well, within three days I could see a foot down - PROGRESS!!! Now it is 7 days, and I can see about 3 feet down. The deepest end is 5 1/2 feet deep and I am hoping to see bottom by the end of next week. I couldn't be happier and I think my fish are happier too! The only thing I would have liked was to review the installation instructions prior to purchase - I would have preferred to purchase all my fittings so I could have installed it when it arrived. I was unable to find this information online.

Works great over three week period

My husband bought this bc his pond he built was just green no matter what he did. He used a water clear agent that said it was safe for the pond and fish and he lost some fish after using it, so he tried this and at first we were like after a week thinking it doesnt work then by week two it was getting clearer then week three it was great we could see to the bottom of the pond and admire the fish we still had. This is great and worked without harming our fish, good thing too bc some of the fish were pricey. Never again will we use another agent to clear the water, this works and is keeping the water clear too. Definitely worth the money and shipping was fast and no damage to the box when it arrived.

It actually works!!

The media could not be loaded. We tried everything; I cleaned all three filters every day for two months; we spent hundreds of dollars on clarifiers and other chemicals and none of them worked. Finally our fish died, our plants died, we were at our wits end. We even poured 3 gallon of bleach to try and clear up our pond and that didn't work either. We had the Tetris 8800 gallon UV filter installed and our pond (4800 gallons) was clear in two days. It is amazing!! Thank you!!!

Cant go wrong with this UV sterilizer. Good good good.

Closer pic doesnt lie. Tank is 750GL including sump, outdoor direct sun light, up running 2 months then ran into issue with deep heavy green algae, doesnt matter how offern water change. This UV (4800GL molder) installed and then run for less than 96H with 85% all algea gone. Go for it is you have same issue. Satisfied.

Needs better O rings.

Bought the 36w clarifier December 6. January 3 it started tripping the GFI. took it apart and found water in the light compartment. Went from Gabao to Tetra thinking buying a good product will last, Guess I was wrong. For sure I will send it back even though I threw the box away hope won't be disappointed again.

Finally a solution

I normally don’t write reviews but I was at my wits end with a fish pond we had constructed. I had tried so many different products, filters etc and could not get the water clear of algae and other contaminants. Installing this uv light was our past chance and I am so glad we did. Recommend buying the size that matches pump output, not pond size. Within about 5 days I can see a difference and now I can see the bottom of the pond and the goldfish we put in at the beginning. Finally feel like we are ready for some koi! It was a pain to install and numerous trips to hardware store but still giving five stars for the end result.

It leaks

It leaks .a drip every 10 seconds. You really can’t tighten it to much without braking it.I just hooked it up so we will see if it worth the money an time.I put bigger oil rings on it an it still leaks.

De verde a completamente transparente

A pesar de que este filtro UV no es una solución permamanete a el agua verde ayuda mucho sobretodo en el establecimiento de las plantas y la eliminación del agua verde. En mi estanque pequeño estaba completamente transparente a los 7 días y el grande tardo pero poco después de 3 semanas ya esta completamente transparente. Hay que tener cuidado por que; al no existir algas, los niveles de nitratos aumentan drásticamente por lo cual es muy recomendable instalar un filtro de plantas y gravas tipo Bog(pantano). Lo que mas me gusta de este filtro UV es que dura mucho aun con condiciones adversas y el precio es muy bueno comparado con otros filtros UV para estanque en el mercado mexicano.
