Geat fit, great price, fast delivery
I have tried many brands, Allegro, Juzo and Jobst, ranging from $25 to $75. None of them have ever fit correctly. Even though I am 6'1" tall with a 34" inseam, even the medium sizes were so long I was forced to trim all three with scissors. I was measured by a very competent licensed physical therapist with 20 years of experience -- twice -- so I know I was purchasing the correct size but they were always too long. These Truform fit perfectly. Search the web for Truform's sizing guide before purchasing. These tend to be sized a little on the small side but not much; better a little too small than too large. A little smaller means better compression. These have fewer seams to come undone. I had a $70 pair ruined after only 4 months due to a seam coming undone. The knit of these is very dense/fine. I have developed friction wounds on the inside of my ankle caused by the friction of compression stockings so the density of the knit is important. These are priced very fairly. I have purchased stockings costing $65 and $70 and have learned that price does not equate to greater comfort or quality. All the other popular brands are sold through medical supply houses and they are always priced identically everywhere -- to the dollar -- so something stinks, somehow those major brands are price protected. Amazon Prime delivery was super-fast in 2 days with Sunday delivery. Seriously. I will continue to purchase these Truform stockings exclusively.

Itched to the tenth degree !
finally got them on then they started itching . I couldn’t get them off ! I ended up cutting them off ! Be careful to not get them too tight . Totally miserable. My fault I’m sure .

O.K. with open-toe sandals - HANDY OPTION for those who need it!
Reason for buying: I bought these as a gift for my Mother. Her cardiologist recommended she go UP from a 20-30 compression to the next category. Her varicose veins give her a great deal of pain and in addition, compression stockings are a must for her on flights to avoid Deep Vein Thrombosis. Finally, she was told that she's got to wear compression stockings or socks every day and all day. This was upsetting for someone who lives in sandals and slides. I tell you - old age is not for the faint of heart! The thigh-high stockings didn't work well and the waist-high pantihose version even less so: occasional kidney problems make it imperative that whatever compression stockings she wears removes easily and quickly. I had to find compression stockings that could be worn with open-toed sandals and slides WITHOUT looking too obvious. What we found: She liked the look of them but COULD NOT get the stockings on her foot. Not the stocking's fault, of course. Despite the cardiologist's recommendation of a 30-40 compression, we're taking her back down to something more manageable; something she can actually slide onto her feet. Since I travel with compression socks, I requisitioned this pair and they felt fine. You've got to roll them on slowly and carefully and position the seam just right. I hated the aesthetics of these and had to remind myself that they weren't designed for beauty - merely utility. The toe area rode up a bit (I wore these with Clark's open-toe sandal) but a little adjusting helped. This will come in handy for summer trips by plane or when there's a long bout of summer walkabouts in humid weather. I really try not to use compression stockings too much for fear I'll get used to them and once you cross THAT Rubicon, it's a slippery slope. I will update the review again post-Summer. If your work requires you to stand a lot, these are perfect for you.
I work as a RN in the OR and stand 8-10hrs a day, Mon thru Friday. I have been wearing this brand of compression hose for the past 10 years and strongly recommend them to anyone else who might stand for long periods of time. They keep my legs from aching and have helped me prevent varicose veins from occurring. A lot of my coworkers in the medical field are wearing them also. What a great product. A big Thank You from all nurses everywhere... :)

Being an 86 year old man I can put them on in the morning quite easily and find it more difficult to in the evening. I experience no swelling or pain in the right leg on which the veins were removed a number of years back
