Dog love it!

Our second one because we played so much with the first one it finally (after years) wore out! Our Golden loves to play with this fetch it football and we have the soccer ball also. It is easy to grasp by human as well as by pups! Very durable and hours of fun!

Love these toys

Our GSD loves playing with these, since they are grooved and easy for him to grab on to. Our Sheltie however can’t get a grip, so I don’t recommend for smaller dogs. I recommend for medium to large dogs that love to play fetch.

Works well doesn't last forever with active dog

I've gone through over a dozen of these easily.my gsd loves catching balls more than anything so she puts it through more than most. Decent quality will last her a bit BUT IF YOU LEAVE YOUR DOG ALONE WITH IT THEY CAN AND WILL SHRED IT. it's great for actively playing catch but not as a chew toy. Mine destroyed one in under 4 hours when I forgot to retrieve it.still it's the best out there without going to a full rubber toy which I don't want her catching midair.

Right size for your medium sized companion

My two Rough Collies enjoy chasing this football. It's very durable - they love to destroy their toys. The grooves allow them to bite it and grab it. Because it's football shaped, it allows for nice unexpected bouncing as they chase it.

My pit bulls LOVE this toy!

4 out 5 of my pit bulls love this toy. The fifth pit bull just stares at us like we're crazy chasing balls. Just beware to not leave the product alone with a dog. Dogs have a habit of chewing. We've made that mistake a few times now...this is our third ball. As durable as these are, eventually my 4 pit bulls will destroy it during play of catch, chase, and tug of war. Why did I buy this three times already? It really is a GREAT product with a lot of fun and exercise for our dogs. It's actually held up longer than most of the other throw toys. 2016 Aug 1 Update The Chuck It toys by far are my dogs favorite toys. The football Chuck It is perfect for long throws, and if the ball is still intact, the erratic unpredictable bounce keeps the dogs guessing which way to twist and turn to grab the ball before the other dogs do. These are durable balls if play time is supervised. My major players now weigh in at 50 lbs, 75 lbs, and 80 lbs...and the fourth occassional player, their momma, weighs in around 75 lbs. She now prefers the Chuck It squirrel for the frisbee action. The younger three are very competitive attempting to catch any of the Chuck It balls I throw. The longest play time with an intact ball averages about one week. By week 2 and with my not properly supervising, the ball suffers from their tug of war games as well as the catcher running off with it to use as a chew toy. The seams come undone but not very fast and so we have an additional week to two of play. What falls apart the fastest is the plastic parts from their fangs puncturing repeatedly. In my opinion, none of this detracts from the benefit of the toy itself. It is just what happens to toys well played and well loved. My vets are always amazed how well muscled these younger dogs are from their daily run and games of catc and chase. Of all the toys I have tried the past two years, Chuck It toys have been the only ones worth repeat purchases. They have outlasted all the other toys that my dogs have enjoyed playing. The ones they couldn't destroy are literally the ones they don't bother playing with...no point in rebuying a toy they have no interest. For the amazing exercise and the satisfaction of the chase, I continue to recommend this awesome brand and especially the three favs of my dogs: football, large kickball, and the flying squirrel. Also, checkout their glow in the dark versions...great for night time outside plays.

Still going!

Our lab destroys everything. EVERYTHING! Even kong toys and such. usually, within a couple of days. We've had it about a year now. The pooch loves chasing this as it can be a bit erratic and keeps her on her toes! Yes - there are punctures and a couple of big gashes in the rubberised bits - but the filling is fairly sturdy (like carpet underlay) and doesn't come out - so should continue to last - so long as the kids and the Pr**k dog don't play tug with it. It's a good size to get purchase on and drop kick down the park, washes up well when it's been taken for a swim in the pond. amusing in the dark - buy a strong UV torch and charge it up. watch it seemingly carry itself around in the dark. . .

Fabulous toy for us time in Park/Heath/Woods

bought this back in August as couldn't find anything that would survive my gsd. It is our play time toy and is only given when out. It is still in perfect condition as he knows it's for outside play, he carries it home and drops it outside the front door, he's still considered a pup at 20mths old... very proud mum. I would suggest chews and chew toys for inside the house.

Excellent toy, and great outdoor fun for your dog

Chuckit toys have understandably earned a reputation for ruggedness and clever design. This small rugby ball shaped toy is no exception. It is very well made and should last a long time unless your dog is a really dedicated chewer. Ideal size and shape for our Border Terrier, but would suit most sized dogs from minature to extra large. This ball throws long distances because of the balanced weight and size, and bounces off unpredictably to enhance the game. The deep moulded shape gives plenty of chewing area, and our BT will be unlikely to damage it: warning though if your dog is a known chewer, best not left alone with these toys because of risk of choking if they manage to break bits off.

Not the cheapest dog ball but strong and so easy to grip. My Ariegois hound dog loves it.
