Good looking, sturdy bar stool.

I bought four of these stools because they were tall enough for a very high bar. They are very attractive and sturdy. I do wish that the hight adjustment and swivel were two different functions, but that really isn't much of a drawback. I also wish that the big steel ring that holds it together was a little higher and on the outside of the legs. It is too low to rest your feet on when the stool is at its highest position. All in all, I would definitely buy them again.

Fantastic Customer Support

Ordered one of these stools just to see if it would work in my new space. One of the caps for the feet was broken. I reached out to the Christopher Knight Home support line via email. They could not have been more prompt or any nicer. They sent a replacement right away. Stools are ready to assemble, very sturdy and I really like the industrial look. Ordered two more to complete my needs.

Excellent stools, sturdy, easiest assembly ever. I had purchased 2 different backless stools from another vendor that were very similar to these and then 2 of these with backs. The backless ones wobbled terribly on the posts so I returned them and purchased more of these and just didn't attach the backs to those 2. These are very sturdy, no wobble at all. And you can very easily remove or attach the backs for whatever look you want. I love them both ways. They sit nice and high at our counter but are adjustable if you want to be lower. Great stools that can be easily adjusted for the perfect look and comfort level.

Agree with most other reviews, great stools!

I got these for my kitchen, and like other reviewers stated, the wood definitely is a bit rough. Mine aren't rough enough to give anyone splinters, but I can see how the wood might catch on certain silk-like fabrics. They're otherwise comfortable, stable, and attractive. I had them assembled with a socket wrench in about 2 minutes each. I'm bummed that two legs out of 4 stools either didn't come with foot pads or the pads are broken, but happy they gave me one spare plastic foot pad for each stool I bought. One negative was the packaging. While these were easy enough to pull out of the box-within-a-box and unwrap the bubble wrap, the inner boxes all had those silica gel packets, which had exploded somewhere along the line during shipping. They little beads ended up in all of the bubble wrap, so taking the chairs out of the box resulted in zillions of these stupid little things rolling all over my house. I've swept and vacuumed twice and am still finding these things rolling around.
