Great watch, Great Price, Great delivery

The watch is exactly as described, original warranty card, all docs included, not a scratch. Package was in fair condition but watch was perfect. Warehouse is sometimes an outrageous bargain, this was one of those times. Thank you amazon :-)

Excellent watch for knowing time and other things.

This is a watch that you can wear and also look at. It also will tell you the time it currently is without being wrong most of the time. It looks very nice both indoors and outdoors as well as in the house or in the garage. You can feel comfortable to know that it still works perfectly and looks good after getting wet or even dropping it onto a surface. It is one of my favorite watches now and I will probably still like it a lot even after wearing it for a while in comfortable environments. I can recommend that you will love it and could even like it if you get a chance for to get this watch. It is available on Amazon for a specific price that I can also recommend is reasonable for the time keeping watch you are getting at a certain cost.

great value & looks, minor flaws

I've recently developed a G Shock fetish and have been trying out different models. This one is an incredibly good looking watch with the midnight blue bezel, skeleton hands, black face, and luminous paint on the hour markers and hands (however the glow doesn't last long once in the dark). I wear it all the time and, after initially charging it by direct exposure to the sun, it has retained its charge by incidental exposure throughout the day. I've not had to go to the length of taking it off and setting it next to the window. It's also accurate because it continually updates the time by communicating with a regional time station. Not quite sure how that works but it's cool. The drawbacks are that dust and skin flakes are quite visible against the black face and I need to continually wipe off the crystal to keep it looking sharp. Also, the alarm is quiet. If my arm is under the covers I'm not likely to hear the alarm. Taking the watch off at night and placing it next to the bed will project the alarm sound better, but I prefer to wear the watch thru the night. Some reviewers complain about visibility of the digital displays, and indeed they aren't that easy to see, being both small and hard to read against the dark background; however the hands are clearly visible, and the backlight effectively illuminates the hands in the dark. Also, using the backlight doesn't run down the battery as it does with other Casio models because the watch is recharged by solar energy. When I first received the watch I almost returned it because it looked all black--the gunmetal blue changes its appearance under different lighting. But I've come to love and admire this watch. It's not as bulky as the women's GMA-S120MF-7A2CR (the only other G Shock I own so far). It's a tough, reliable, and stylish timepiece.

Very attractive looking, decent value. But the negative display holds it back, big time...

Ah, Casio. A company that has quickly become my favorite watch brand because of how much they manage to pack in their watches at such a good value. This watch is no different, packing in an enormous number of features for under $100: radio time sync, solar power, analog-digital combination face (where the times are actually synced, unlike many other offerings), 200m water resistance, and shock resistance; along with the standard world time (48 cities, 31 zones), stopwatch (59'59.99" capacity before looping), countdown timer (0'01" - 100'00" capacity), and alarm (5 alarms, hourly chime) functions. However, there is one major flaw holding this back, and that is unfortunately the negative display which, while incredibly nice to look at, is nigh unreadable. While it has a nice stealthy look, the negative LCD is going to divide opinions and may just make or break the watch for you. ----- Pros: - Design - Not as blue as in the photo, however the blue ring combined with the dark solar cell face gives it a very nice look. Not to mention the subtle blue accents around the indices and the markers, and the slight sunburst effect on the dial. - Not as loud and ostentatious as other G Shocks - This is what held me back from G Shocks at first. Sure they're amazing, but for the most part they tend to be too big, and most have to advertise every single feature on the face. This one is on the smaller side, and has a much cleaner face. - Pretty good bang for your buck - Nice texture and comfortable band - The resin shell and casing have a nice, slightly rubbery texture to them, and feel like the watch can definitely take a heavy beating and survive. Cons: - No second hand - Not a big deal, but would've been nice... - A tad bulky - But it's a G Shock. Easily forgiven. - Proprietary/Oddly shaped straps - Wouldn't be a Casio without non-standard lugs! But I think there is an adapter mod out there... - Negative display - The biggest flaw. Looks extremely attractive and gives the watch face a nice stealthy look, but the small size of the LCD combined with the difficulty of being able to see unless in direct light at the perfect angle ended up making the displays nearly impossible to read. I wanted to love it, I wanted to try dealing with it, but infortunately, this is the one major thing holding the watch back. There is a similar model with a positive LCD, however it is much more expensive and can only be imported. Other: - Came with the regular plastic stand. Sadly no fancy G Shock tin for me :( - Box was slightly damaged on arrival

Nice durable watch

This watch is very accurate with the atomic time keeping feature. The date can be hard to see in low light but the hands are white and easily visible. I like the fact that the face lights up with a flick of the wrist making it easy to see in the dark. I wear this watch daily while working and after several months it still looks new where most other watches would be scratched up so this watch is very durable. I would definitely purchase again.

No original box/tin really gave less value for the purchase...

Watch is great real g shock.. but the packaging awful. Didn't come in it's original container. Was for a Christmas present I mean could at least come in a container. Was in a bubble wrap no Casio booklet for instructions. It gave so much more less of a value than what I paid for. I know it's an older model but still that's why I gave it 3 stars. Packaging matters fyi for whoever packaged this. Especially for a nice item like a watch.

ordered this G shock watch - and got a G- it is useless shock Watch cannot have its time adjusted - and the Atomic time from the universe is wrong...the digital displays are unreadable...and the light function doesnt actually light anything up - except the light shocking watch from Casio - which is normally excellent Then I tried to return it - but Amazon said bad luck, it was supplied from the Amazon Global Store - and they dont do refunds Sure I could return the watch - but the freight would be more than the watch is worth one of the worst purchases I have had on Amazon.....this watch shoudnt be for sale...and Amazon should have allowed a full refund upon return Epic Fail all round - by Casio and Amazon

This is one smart good looking watch

I received this watch super fast, people talk about the reverse LED being a pain to see, i can see them just fine in indoor light or outside daylight conditions and I don't mind if i cant see it when its dark, the dark led look gives the watch a nicer look than the brighter led. Its a very comfortable watch to wear, the photo on here does not do it justice it looks like a blue face which it is not, it is black face, must be a reflection from the blue rim on the Glass when they took the photo. I'm thinking on getting another one for everyday use (work). Very easy to set up and use the button features.

Calidad G-Shock

Excelente reloj como cualquier G-shock y en general como cualquier casio. Muy resistente y se ve bien en cualquier contexto, desde oficina hasta en el campo. El único problema es que los displays no están retro iluminados, por lo que de noche son prácticamente inutilizables. Por lo demás, excelente.

I like everything about this watch except the fact that the digital display is very hard to read. I could not see it unless i was in direct sunlight. Also, the alarm on it is very hard to hear. I returned this and traded it in forCasio Men's AWGM100-1ACR G Shock Watch . to which i give 5 stars. Same watch but much easier to see.

Rugged and reliable

Looks nice, and it's been extremely reliable, even when exposed to the elements, sand and submersible. It's basically set it and forget it. My only warnings are that you shouldn't expect to see the screens in the dark, even with the illumination, which only lights up the hands. Also, try not to get bug spray on it, as it seems to mess with the finish of the strap.
