Nurses/ Nursing students -- great watch!!!

I'm a nurse and i like to match my match to my scrubs. This watch is inexpensive enough to buy in many colors to do just that. I have 3 of these presently -- pink/grey, pink/white and purple/gray/black. For $17 .... how can you go wrong. There is also a few black combination colors as well as more vibrant single colors without a contrasting color. This not a smart watch, not a pedometer and no calorie counter. It's $17. Simple function -- and looks utilitarian with a splash of color to make it eye catching. Also it can be banged around a lot -- and is water proof enough for the 45+ times a day I wash my hands during a hospital shift. I have a larger than average lady size wrist --( size 16, 5'8", large bones and German stock) This watch fits perfectly with a couple holes left over. You could replace the watch band easily enough if you needed to. The only thing I could think would be great to add is a stretchy band so the watch can be pulled up easier before putting on sterile gloves. Love it -- it's attractive, has great alarms and can switch from military time to regular people time quickly. You can also use the feature of multiple alarms to return to check on your patients hourly or less/more which makes for better care and organization. And hey, don't give me a NOT HELPFUL rating if you aren't a nurse -- just pass it by as unhelpful to YOU. Thank you :)

It's awesome!

Hi! So, I gave this to my daughter a few years back as a gift and I can say I am super impressed! It's easy to use, the timer works awesome and she uses a lot for its stopwatch and alarms. It tells time and date which is all she really needs. My daughter has banged it against a lot of stuff and it still looks really good. If you're looking for a cute, good,well working watch that works with a lot of outfits and is super easy to watch, this is totally the watch for you.

Great Watch

I love this watch. I wash my hands dozens of times throughout the day, and I have ruined multiple watches in the process. This watch is holding up through washing and bathing. I even sleep in it. I love the hourly signal, and the functions are easy enough that I have them memorized from only reading the instructions once -- I have very poor memory skills. I would recommend this watch to absolutely everyone. I would have given five stars, but the band seems a bit small. I have tiny wrists and wear it on the third hole. I don't think someone with larger wrists would be comfortable in this watch. The band easily slips out from the little loop that holds it in place. If the band were longer and more accommodating to larger wrists, it would get five stars.

Does not set Oct, Nov, Dec date months

So got this for my wife for Christmas she loves it right color and with pink accents she really likes it. So far so good. Now for the bad, when setting the time the month feature, goes to zero after the number nine, I have had casios for years and never had an issue. I suspect this was return, since the packaging appears to have been opened. Way to go Amazon. I usually write reviews for exceptional products or bad. And this falls into the bad. Guess I will have just to reset every January, since she really likes the watch. And don't feel driving 50 miles to a return loacation. Just hope the year function works so it will keep on track for the first 9 months of the year. Thus only gave it 2 stars other wise it would have been one. Since she really does like it.

Good watch for adults, not so much for kids

This is a good quality durable watch that I've bought for my 9 years old. It is still working fine with the abuse of child. One issue is that its settings are too complicated and I should have bought a simpler watch for my 9 years old (no need for day, world clock, 24/12hrs etc). So keep that in mind if you are buying this for a child. Otherwise, it fits nicely to her relatively small wrist. The biggest issue, hence 4 stars, is that my daughter has vision problem and the pink/orange looking LED display is not ideal. The pictures in the amazon (especially video) does not show that fact and it looks the display is black.

Usually great, but this one broke

I have bought this watch 3 or 4 times over 20 years because I love it so much, it does everything I need it to do and it's not too bulky. Whenever it gets old and scruffy and I've swapped the straps 5 or 6 times I just get the same one again. I've never had any issues with it before, I don't think I've ever even needed to change the battery. But this time it just stopped working after only one year. I had it checked at Timpsons and the battery is fine, the watch itself just randomly broke one day and can't be fixed. Super disappointing and now I'm wary about getting this one again.
