Bought 3 watches - same review of all... But time will tell?
Less than 75 bucks? 5 stars on first impression. Let me tell you a story. I love CHEAP watches and GREAT watches. I own 2.59 cent LCD cheapo's I think are amazing and I own a 2400.00 Rolex and 1700.00 Tag. Well the Rolex is almost 26 years old and (though it works great and looks awesome) don't I need a change? The Tag was a change, but again 12 years old and now wanting it's 2nd battery we're talking around 220 bucks. (just for the battery replace). Loving watches in general, I've always wanted the invicta TV channel shows but never bought. Seems to good to be true? Well this time I needed a new Battery of 220 again and thought - maybe try a 200 buck Invicta. Reading reviews that said things like the crown and springs popped out and Invicta charging them for repairs made me worried about spending 200-300-400. Other reviews of HUGE AND HEAVY worried me. I shopped and shopped and added those I liked to my WATCH LIST. Feeling secure that if I buy from AMAZON - I'm able to return. So after thinking on it - I just couldn't bring myself to buy 300+ for something that may arrive broken. I ordered one... this one. Because it looks great and what the heck - it was like 65.00 bucks. I buy... NEXT DAY Amazon shows me a SALE on them for 25% off. What! So before the first one even came, I ordered two more since I couldn't pass on that savings. Total cost - very close to a new battery replacement in my TAG. The showed up (2 boxes) at the same time. I open one and get this one first. My jaw dropped. FIRST LET ME SAY that the Japanese internals are 1/2 the thickness of the Swiss units. At these cheap prices - do I really care who made it? So many people have said I've sent it back because it was to big and to heavy. I'm use to a large watch (TAG and ROLEX are not light, though thinner than swiss and Japanese Invicta. I have very thin/small wrists. (150lb 5'7") Well putting the watches on (all 3 of them) I have to use the smallest or 2nd from the smallest hole available. (so that give you an idea) the sizes of the faces are large and I like that. The weight of this one is lighter than the others and I like that. But the other swiss ones aren't uncomfortable. Now at these prices - I hope to update my review should anything negative arise. They've not been in water and thought I've had my Rolex and Tag scuba diving all over the US and Caribbean, I don't really dive any more. But I do sail aggressively catamarans. (VERY WET) so we shall see. I HATE scratches on crystals - so we shall see that over time as well. I don't know what the heck a flame fusion is (someone made that up). My 27 and 12+ year old Rolex and Tag do not have scratches. And I'm ROUGH on them. The band - RUBBER? is cheap, but looks like it will last. I WONDER IF IT WILL GET STICKY to my wrist in warm humid weather? But should wear well and not deteriorate with water use. (THE BAND FOR THIS ONE IS A BIT DIFFERENT) original review was on Japanese model But I got this at the same time. Being AMAZED at what I received for a bit over 200.00 it then hit me. NOW I HAVE 3 BATTERIES that will likely need replacing at the same time!? SHOOT I never considered that. I wonder what the cost of batteries in these will be? And if it might just be smarter to throw them in a drawer and get a new look at that time? I hate jewelry - so these are my only sort of bling I wear. I'll toss a few photos in here - and will update later if I find any negatives to these item. I'm using this same review for the 3 watches I received.

It's big and beautiful.
It's a very nice watch. I'm not sure if I'd ever actually wear it everyday. It's just too nice. It's also pretty big and heavy which is my only critique.

Pretty to look at but alas, it is not designed to last.
This is the third Invicta watch I am purchasing. This one is similar to the last which was black and gold coloured. Sad to say that after a few months of wearing the watch on a daily basis they both developed the same problem i.e. misting beneath the glass display. Never been swimming with the watches on. In fact the most vigorous test they have had is when I wash my hands under running taps. Especially disappointing as they are supposed to be "waterproof." Warranties aside this watch is supposed to be waterproof and the misting beneath the glass is obviously a sign on an inherent design fault that needs to be addressed.

Not massive and very impressive
Lets begin with delivery time using "Super Saver". I ordered this impressive watch on Saturday the 2nd of May and it arrived on Thursday the 7th, I was very impressed with the delivery time considering that the watch dispatched from "KOBERN-GONDORF" in Germany (despite their business address apparently being at 6007 16th Ave, Brooklyn, New York, 11204, US), then it went to a carrier in Hemel Hempstead in the UK and finally to another carrier in Leeds before it got delivered to me. The watch came well packaged and in a yellow rubberised box, with a cool ripple pattern running across it. Inside the watch box was a full and detailed manual that covers all the different types of watches Invicta makes, a small warranty card with model number etc blank on it and a seemingly redundant/extra fold-out leaftet explaining how to set the time etc. Most likely included for non English speakers as it includes many languages. Onto the watch itself, it looks very impressive and could easily rival a thousand quid one in looks as well as performance. As others have commented, the watch face isn't the same sky blue colour as indicated in the photo, its much much darker. If you take a look at the colour chart here: https://rollingharbour.files.wordpress.com/2011/05/50-shades-of-blue.jpg The watch face is actually "Midnight Blue". In low light conditions the blue is so dark that its almost black. As much as I dont like false advertising and would have been annoyed if I wanted the watch with that exact same colour in the photo, I'm actually relieved that the watch isnt as sky blue as the product photo makes out, as it would probably look a bit cack. I have taken a photo of the watch on my wrist to give an accurate idea of what this actually looks like and how big it is. Watch face close-up: http://rs288.pbsrc.com/albums/ll195/billybifocals007/20150510_095800_zps3orzmpcz.jpg~320x480 Another close-up: http://rs288.pbsrc.com/albums/ll195/billybifocals007/20150510_095816_zpsmnconrks.jpg~320x480 Watch on my right arm: http://rs288.pbsrc.com/albums/ll195/billybifocals007/20150510_095221_zpsrqs8n6u5.jpg~320x480 Watch on my left arm: http://rs288.pbsrc.com/albums/ll195/billybifocals007/20150510_095603_zpskada8igb.jpg~320x480 As you can see from my photos above, the watch isnt huge. Some of the reviews were making out that this watch is ridiculously big, but it isn't at all. I measured the circumference of my wrist and its about 8.5 inches around. I consider that I've got quite slim wrists given that I can wrap either hand around the other wrist and easily have my thumb and middle fingers touch together. The build quality and attention to detail is fantastic, easily worth the £80 I just paid for it. The chronograph is awesome, especially the 1/10th of a second dial at the 6 oclock position that sweeps around very fluidly. It does this for exactly 30 seconds and intentionally stops, leaving the main chronograph hand still moving around. Another cool thing that it does is allow you to start the chronograph and take seperate times by then pressing the bottom button beneath the crown. Pressing the bottom button again makes the chronograph second hand rapidly spin around to the point where it would have been, had you never stopped it, difficult to explain but very very cool. Ok onto the crown etc, its impossible to screw the crown down no matter how much you rotate it when its in its closed position. As I regularly wash up whilst wearing my watch I tested to make sure whether it actually is water proof despite the crown not screwing down fully. I dumped the watch into the bottom of a large bowl filled with water and patiently waited for any air bubbles to emerge from the crown area. Fortunately there were no air bubbles released so the watch actually is water proof, despite being unable to screw the crown right down. In the product description it states that the bezel is bi-directional which means its meant to be able to rotate left as well as right. In fact its only possible to rotate the bezel counterclockwise/left. Not a big deal, but again, more inconsistencies with the product description. Contrary to what one reviewer said, the hands as well as the hour markers do actually glow in the dark. The clock face obviously doesn't illuminate because there's no light behind it. It is very comfortable to wear and the rubberised strap feels like it will last a life time. It feels quite tight on my wrist and I've got 4 holes remaining on the strap so I guess this watch would be suitable for people with huge wrists measuring over 9 inches around. The gold plating and detail on the strap is very very nice, it doesn't look cheap and nasty, it looks like a genuine solid gold watch. Time will tell to see if it eventually fades. The left side of the watch has INVICTA (Latin for "Unvanquished / Invincible" ) engraved into it, again a very nice touch. The watch feels very well built and overall I'm very impressed with it. At just 80 quid this is an absolute steal and would make a fantastic gift for any guys.

This is a big, heavy, beautifully designed, well made watch. Not for a small wrist though!
This is a big, heavy, beautifully designed, well made watch. I have absolutely no issues with the watch itself. I had it over a year now and it is still as new! The watch face is truly gorgeous and belies the value of the watch. The only let down is the strap - it is a very thick, solid plastic thing which is not flexible at all, resulting in strain and discomfort in my wrist especially whilst driving. The solution was to go for an aftermarket thick silicone strap with carbonfibre mesh front and gold stitiching actually improving the aestethics of the watch, whilst making the watch wearable in all situations. Beware the watch is big and heavy, and is not suited for people with a small wrist.

If you don't like your watch big and noticeable
What a watch!!! Make no mistake, this is a big, chunky watch. If you don't like your watch big and noticeable, this is not a watch for you. The detail is amazing and it looks very expensive. I've read a few disparaging comments about Invicta online, but the good comments way outweigh the bad, and I've got to say, I'm VERY impressed with the quality of mine. Not had it long, so I'm not sure how well it keeps time (although so far it seems fine), but it's such a stunner that I'd still wear it if it didn't work and I had to move the hands manually 24 hours a day. This is my first Invicta, but now I've got the Invicta bug, already ordered a second and on the lookout for a third. All this and it was delivered from the US in 3 days just for an extra tenner. Seriously, this is a great deal for a beautiful watch -- 5 stars is a no brainer.

Excellent build quality and nice and heavy
WOW. This watch is absolutely stunning. It looks way more expensive than what I paid. Excellent build quality and nice and heavy. Many comments from lots of people on how nice it is. Only had it a few days but I'm glad I bought it. Lookin at a invecta bolt or subaqua for my next buy. You have too and need to buy this watch..
