Snapper Gas Cap
Fits my rear engine snapper mower. Vent closes tight and doesn't leak when you stand the mower on end to work on the deck.

Great replacement cap
Fits perfectly on the Grasshopper has tank. The old fuel level cap was clouded out and couldn't be read, this is a great replacement (and much cheaper).

Perfect fit for a Grasshopper 700 series front mount deck
If you have a Grasshopper with the 4.3 gallon saddle tank, this cap is a perfect fit. The OEM cap with a float and fuel gauge becomes unreadable within a few years, this cap with a vent is a great replacement.

Fits and Doesn't Leak.
It fits my twenty year old Encore Z turn mower and it doesn't leak, but my wife broke off the small vent valve fairly quickly. It still functions OK though.

I installed this cap on a Snapper to replace the factory cap which has a 'gauge' indicating fuel quantity. That cap is also available, but I always check the level by sight, and didn't want to pay for a useless gauge. I believe the tank diameter is 2 1/8" and this cap screwed right in place. It is a bit disconcerting to see a fully blanked cap after all these years, but I figure the old cap could use replacement after 25 years in the sunlight had weakened and clouded the plastic 'lens'. This should last even longer. I like it.
