Paid full price for a damaged product.

I really like the size & look but it came in with a big dent in the side. Not happy about that. I feel like the damage was done in transit. 3 stars only because of dent. Otherwise, I would’ve given 5 stars.

Great product, not so great seller.

Bought this product from Mission Pets. Very nice container. Bought early as Christmas present, by the time reliazed listing was misleading, we had lost the ability to comment on sellers site. Listing had a number of photos with a scoop included. No mention of "scoop sold separately". Response from Mission Pets customer service was "we sell scoop separately, you can order one". If you use another's photos for your listing and do not include everything in photo, you should state so. Will never buy from Mission Pets again.

Ok, I don't leave critical posts as a general rule, but buyer beware. I bought the 22 lb one with the black top. First problem, this tin does not fit 22 lbs unless your kibble is the size of cat kibble. My GSD eats German Shepherd specific food, which is a chunkier kibble. I could barely fit half of a 17 lb bag of her food in it. Also, your dog will go insane after you put the food in because they can smell it through the tin very easily. My cats were even circling it. So you will have to put it somewhere so your dog can't get into it, which sort of eliminates the need to purchase an attractive container. Second problem, the black coating on the top had scratches on it within two hours. Two. Hours. Just from me filling it, moving it, and getting a helping of food out if it for my dog. Third problem, after I put the food in, the bottom started to buckle (the bottom rim started sticking out)- and its not heavy food. I can easily lift the container. So I am beyond disappointed. If this had cost $20, OK, whatever. But it was significantly more and it's poor quality. Form should follow function. This tin is all form, no function. If you want something that just looks pretty, this is for you. If you're actually intending on using it and expect it to hold up, move on. I would return it but I had to actually use it to realize what a waste of money it is. So I will use it until it falls apart or gets so scratched up it's an embarrassment. Oh, and the scoop is plastic, not as pictured. Don't waste your money.

Good Quality

My seven-year-old lab has destroyed three plastic food containers and one wood one(she's gotten into the pantry four times) so it is time to try metal. This is very sturdyand attractive I do wish the top screwed on, but it does fit well. Time will tell if she can chew through it unless everyone remembers to close the door. Tightly!

Save your money

I was excited about this from seeing it online but my disappointment comes in the quality of the product compared to its price tag. I had bought a similar product at a big box home store for half the price and it was twice the size of this one online. It was also very sturdy so when I was purchasing this one through Amazon for the price, I expected a quality similar if not superior. Straight out of the box, the bin practically collapsed. The weight of the material is very flimsy and because of that, the lid needs to be finagled in order to fit securely. Kinda disappointed to say the least because it's so not worth the cost.
