Comfortable, warm and rugged
I was very pleased when I put this canvas overshirt on for the first time. It is very comfortable. The flannel lining in the body and the nylon lining in the sleeves is warm, especially since the exterior canvas shirt cuts the wind. I read some reviews complaining about it not being warm, but I didn’t buy it as a jacket, rather as an overshirt, warm enough for very cool days, but can easily be layered over when it’s cold. The shirt has a nice loose fit cut to it, which makes it very comfortable for working in, not to tight in the shoulders and chest so you can really move. The snap button closure is extremely nice, quick and simply to button up, or to open if you’re sweating and need to cool off. A chest pocket on each side is also very nice, for glasses on one side and pencils or your phone on the other. And, the chest pockets are big enough to hold my iPhone, perfect! This shirt feels very rugged and like it will last a good long time, like everything Dickies makes.

Fantastic shirt! Super warm and wonderfully soft on the outside and inside. I am a carpenter and will be wearing this as an outer layer all spring!

Not warm
Not warm at all. Only the core is flannel lined. The sleeves are nylon for some reason. Wind cuts right through it. It defeats the purpose of this if you have to wear a jacket over it.

Comfortable flannel interior and tough, rugged exterior. Should last a long time. Fits well and looks fine.
