Fits well

My son is long and slender and this fits him pretty well - still a bit roomy, but he’s used to that. Nice product for the price!

Economic swim shirts.

Our little guy spends a lot of time in the pool, so we need multiple swim shirts at a good price. These seemed to fit the bill!

Not the most durable but we love them!

I grabbed these when they were on sale and they’re worth it for that price. The green and white one had tons of loose threads after the first wash and hasn’t gotten any better. The black one seems far better and hasn’t had any loose threads! My toddler likes the feeling of them and I love how lightweight they are!

Not a True Rashguard

If you're looking for a true rash guard swim shirt, this is not for you. This shirt is cut like a normal t-shirt and made out of a dry-fit type material. Amazon's description says it is UPF 50. There is no labeling on the actual shirt to indicate this to be true, and we haven't had a chance to test it at a pool yet to confirm whether it has true sun protection or not. Pay attention to the sizing. My son is 10 and normally wears a medium in Nike, UA, etc. A medium in this shirt is an 8. I ordered a large to get a size 10, and the fit is as expected for a size 10. My son doesn't like tight fitting and doesn't like to swim with a shirt - this is more or less a shirt for him to wear to/from/around the pool, so it should do the trick for us.

Great fit

Fits my slim boy very well. He's long and slim. Perfect. Nice length and fits great. He can grow into it a bit

Great value, great color selection, runs big!

This runs BIG, especially for swimwear which I usually find runs small. My son is 4 years old. He typically wears 4T (he is 42 inches tall, 39 lbs, and skinny) but in swim I usually size up so I went for the XS. On the tag it says 4/5 so I expected it to be a little big. He was SWIMMING in it...Pun intended. It is too loose so I am exchanging for a 4T which should be perfect. I can't review the sun protection because we haven't put it to the test yet.

Summer Staple

With the hot summer and lots of time at the pool and lake, we can't have enough of these solid swim shirts on hand. I prefer the black because they stay clean, are a durable quality and wash up nicely. They are a soft, cool fit and go with any pair of swim trunks. I continue to purchase the next size up to have for the following summer.

Not a rash guard

Don’t go for this cheap option. It’s not actually a rash guard. Fabric is like any normal sport top. No label on the top verifying the claim that it has any sun protection at all!

Great purchase

The shirts are a really nice material. The plain navy one is softer than than the green one with the sharks, but both are good. There are no tags or anything to irritate the skin like on a lot of other swim shirts. My son has a $6 walmart rash guard, a $40 nike rash guard and these ones. These ones are by far my favorite.

Size is smaller than you expect.

Quality is decent. Price is decent. Keep in mind a large is for 9/10 yr old. All my son's clothes are large 10/12 so size is a bit off.

Fits but causes chafing

The sizing is good but probably 75% of the time my son has chafing from the shirt. Never had this issue before with other swim shirts.

Great value and quality!

I’ve never bought an Amazon essentials product before this and I was so surprised at the great quality! I’ll look for Amazon essentials again!
