Works perfect. Looks terrible.

Fit my equipment trailer perfect. I really like the auto lock feature. My only issue is as soon as it gets wet, it turns brown and is covered in surface rust. Still works fine.

Heavy duty. Like it

Looks to be extremely heavy duty. I like the fact that it's latched no matter what unless you have a pin in it. ( I needed it to grind a small ditch away so the pin would go in and hold it in the unlocked position) I disassembled the entire thing as to paint it very well then put it back together.

They Could powered coat or paint it, it rusted the first night it was on the trailer, made it look trashy

Best improvement to my trailer.

So my large utility trailer was giving me an issue with install and remove off the truck. I figured the coupler was worn and ordered this couple for not only a replacement but higher load margin. I wish I had done this years ago. Easier on and off and no movement like the last unit. Very happy with purchase. Life got a whole lot easier with this coupler.

How we long for days past!

Loved these couplers! Past tense though. Been using these on our trailers for years now. These couplers take the stupid out of drivers. It auto locks when you drop the trailer onto the ball. Our drivers couldn't tell if the factory stamped steel couplers were on or locked. We have the damaged tailgates and bumpers to prove it! So these couplers took the guess work out of coupling. We had to order a dozen new trailers to keep up with demand. So to Amszon we go and order new couplers. But hmmmm, the quality is different, they don't work quite as well and have to constantly push trailers back to get locking pin in place. Never before have we had this problem. Heck one of the couplers won't even drop on the ball, size is correct, we know, we measured, but the mechanism on the underside is off compared to the rest. Quality on theses have plummeted along with their price. Was paying a bit more, and was happy. Lower prices and we're miserable. Too bad they ruined an awesome product. When they had better quality and a bit more in price they used to include grade 8 bolts as well. Now garbage, and nothing but a junk piece of steel. Replacing with another brand is out of the question as we have 31 trailers and have purchased high-end locks. It would cost us over 10k to replace everything now. Thanks for nothing Buyers, great job......not!

Looks very uniformly cast. Only one thing , doesn't seem to have a lot of return of lock component around the ball but I have not loaded that trailer as of yet
