Helped to get rid of my kitten's chin acne

I found a kitten and she had that black build-up acne in her chin area constantly. I would try the flea comb and get a lot of it off, I always use ceramic mini plates for her food, nothing got rid of it. Until I used these wipes on it. I already had them on hand for cleaning my cats when they seemed a bit dingy from being outside. I gave her a few sessions when I noticed her chin getting blocked up again - held her like a baby and just scrubbed at her chin with the wet wipe. It would get all those little black bits pulled out and her chin looked pink & clean. It was our little spa time. A few days later, she'd have a black build up again and I'd repeat the process. After about 5 times, it hasn't come back at all after a couple of months. I'm back to using them on the main coat to get off general dirt or spots. Maybe it wasn't all due the wipes but it worked so much better than the comb or scratching at it and I'm very pleased that it seems to be gone for good.

Easy to use

I used these for dander my cat started getting due to dry skin. I love that the smell is not overwhelming.

Cats didn't like it too much and i am not sure how much it helped

I was trying to find a way to avoid my husbands allergy from acting up but it was not easy to get the cat to enjoy the wipes and when I was able to get him to sit still my husbands allergies didnt go down.

As expected from this brand

Burt’s never disappoints. No scent is good for my allergic cat. Smaller size packages of wipes are less likely to dry out before I use them all.

Follow the instructions!

My cat really enjoyed being wiped down with these for a couple of weeks, then started to squirm away when I tried. A few days later she peed outside the litterbox, which she's never done, and it was bloody red. Apparently blood in urine is not rare in cats, but it freaked me out. The vet prescribed 2 weeks of antibiotics; after the first five days, her urine returned to normal. There are multiple things than cause bloody urine, so it's very possible my suspicion on the wipes is purely due to timing. That said, there must be a good reason Burt's Bees says to only wipe the cat's back to the base of the tail, and I think it might be because it's an area the cat can't easily lick. I was naughty and also wiped her sides and paws, and sometimes I used two wipes, so she got a bit damp. The wipes contain true aloe (aloe barbadensis); the gelatin in the leaves isn't toxic, but the rest of the plant is, and the very first symptom of poisoning I see listed is urine turning red. Hopefully Burt's Bees sources the aloe from a reliable supplier and carefully checks it. I won't be using these wipes anymore, but if you do, follow the instructions carefully!

My cat dislikes getting wet but got some reason he loves these. His dander is almost null. This is much better than washing your on the tub or shower. This I promise.

These are the best wipes for my kittys bum! They don't irritate her private parts like other wipes I've used in the past. A wonderful natural product!

Thicc Cat Gets Clean

I have an older cat who’s on the thicc side, so he can’t reach much of his back to clean. He also HATES water, so bathing isn’t an option unless I want my arms looking like I got attacked by Freddy Kruger. Enter these wipes; I thought I would try them since they inexpensive and relatively natural. With one wipe I gave him a good rubdown, and followed up with a brushing so I could get the product closer to his skin. Once he was dried (just a little damp from the wipe) his fur is sooooo soft! Like feels like his kitten sister soft. The smell is nice and he really doesn’t seem to care. I highly recommend these.

they work

They work. My cat dislikes them, but I lure her into the bathroom with a (dental) treat, shut the door and use one of these wipes on her, and give her another treat when done. She comes willingly for it and tolerates the wipes much better than a plain damp towel. Her dandruff on her back got bad because her previous owner had her so obese on human food that she could not physically reach to groom and her nutrition was awful, dull brittle hair etc. These wipes do help, along with regularly using a furminator comb, keeping a room humidifier going 24/7, and feeding half of her food daily a wet food made with tuna or salmon (fish oil). She's on a diet with us, and is losing weight, but she will have severe dandruff for a while because she was so very fat to start with. These wipes are a great help and it doesn't eliminate it but does keep her from shedding dandruff flakes all over everything if you use them frequently.

Nicely moist and unscented.

Love the lack of scent and how moist these are. One wipe does my 13lb boy from head to tail. There's no bathing this Tasmanian devil and he gets huge white flakes of dandruff every winter. He's super soft and glossy after a wipedown. And thank god I had them because I just dumped a (thankfully cold) cup of coffee all over the bathroom, myself and him!

my cat liked these and they did the job

started noticing some dandruff on my cat going into the winter months and i KNOW this cat is not going to let me give him a bath. i don't want a gross crusty cat so this seemed like the perfect solution. when i first took one wipe out of the package my cat went nuts like i had catnip. he was rubbing up against the wipe himself without my help. it took away the dandruff and his coat was back to shiny and clean. they did seem to dry up pretty fast so i only ended up using a few of the wipes before that.

Great wipes to clean elderly cat

Our 20 year old cat is no longer able to groom himself very well, had a little bit of dandruff and was getting a little smelly. He enjoys having his fur brushed and while he is a mellow cat, if there is anything he doesn't like (eg giving meds, brushing teeth), he will try to get away. I decided to try these wipes to clean him instead of doing a bath. Fortunately, he doesn't seem to mind being cleaned by wipes. They make his fur a little damp but not to the point that he feels uncomfortable and moves away. There's a light scent when I put my nose right up to the wet wipes, but when I hold my cat now (the day after), he just smells like clean cat. I don't see any flecks of dandruff. I've used these wipes a few times in the last two weeks, and he still seems not to mind them. I've not tried other wipes for cats so I can't compare. But I'm pleased with these ones, and will repurchase when I run out.
