Got a good one

Read a couple of reviews on this. Took a chance on it and lucky 7. The one i received looked just as pictured. Thank you baby Jesus! Worked great in my SDS plus hammer drill. Drilled out 11 full length holes, with no issues whatsoever, into my existing back concrete patio for a 4' x 23' extension. Would buy again if needed but i think this will last way longer then what i'm using for. Will keep on hand if i need it for anything else or if neighbor needs to barrow.

It drills holes in pavers

I used this bit to drill 16 holes in my pavers for a pool safety fence. It drilled through the pavers without a problem, but labored when I hit solid concrete. The tip stayed in tack and the bit remained straight. I was satisfied and glad it didn't break.

It makes nice holes!!!

Used with a battery powered Ryobi hammer drill (non-SDS) to punch holes in house brick to run cabling. Worked great. Washed it and looks new enough I could have sent it back, but I’m not a cheap-stake LOL. Next time I need a big hole in masonry I have a great bit in the garage.

Bit bent as soon as impact drilling began

I tried drilling a pilot hole in my basement concrete wall. As soon as I pressed hard enough to engage the impact drill feature the drill bent along the length of the bit, becoming unusable. See the photo for what it looks like. It should follow the straight edge of the paper but it curves away. Maybe I got a dud but I'm not going to hassle with returning it and trying it again. I'll just go spend a couple more bucks and buy a Bosch from a big box. Fortunately, Amazon's return process allows for no returns refunds to my Amazon account. Kudos to them for that. BTW, for those thinking based on other reviews "oh maybe his drill or skill is bad" I have drilled holes in the same concrete wall using inexpensive Harbor Freight SDS drill bits and they work amazingly well for what they cost. Unfortunately they don't sell a 5/32" size like this bent one.

Not what i ordered.

I ordered a 5/8 inch Drill America Drill bit based on the pictures included in the product description. The item that i received, DID NOT look at all anything like the picture. Mine looked very different. The tip on the drill bit shown on the picture looks a lot thicker then the one i received.
