My baby just grabs it before it has a chance to roll very far. The frame bent a little because of it.

Cute but not a smart design

It only goes forward, a single action lasts very short, and then you have to manually restart it again. And it’s super heavy!

its cute, but..

this toy is adorable. the music & sounds are cute (except the screeching monkey is kinda scary). I gave it 3 stars because the button the baby is supposed to hit to make it go, isn't really that easy to hit. the bezel is too high & it results in my child just smacking the monkey, making it spin on its wheels in place. so then you basically have to chase the toy with your child in order to properly hit the button for him/guide him. the other thing is that this toy is just L O U D ! ! ! no volume control whatsoever. also, the lights look really cool & my son loves seeing them when we play in the evening without as much light.

Does not work as intended...

This toy only works for a short period of time... So unless your room is big for the monkey to roll until it hits something then it will stop the second he bumps into something and stop working at all unless you turn it back off and on again...... What's the point in that?? Baby doesn't know how to do that and even if I do, I find it annoying let alone a baby... When it does work (for those few seconds) it puts a big smile on my baby's face as it looks super cute and the songs and the green flashing lights definitely get baby's attention but after it stops working baby moves on to the next toy so this doesn't get much use and it is quite bulky too so I can't justify having this out for baby to play... And when baby does play with it, I often find himself twisting the monkey up and down I guess because of the clicking noise that it makes. Apart from that, not a good toy. It would have been perfect if it actually stopped working after it touched something.

Too fast

When it first arrived I thought it was broken as the button wouldn’t work, but after manually turning the rings it got going. However my baby isn’t very interested in it. I have wooden floors and it goes really fast - so fast I think she can’t be bothered to try and catch it - and my baby is mobile and definitely not lazy. It also stops as soon as it hits something, would be good if it reversed.

Hey, hey it's a monkey...

I bought this cheeky chappie as a Christmas present for my five month old daughter after seeing it boxed in a department store. The display model brought a smile to my face with its bright green flashing wheels, and the monkey's enthusiastic chatterings. In action, the monkey delights my daughter, although I was a little disappointed that it didn't quite meet my high expectations. Whilst it rolls around quite well over all surfaces, it has its limitations - chiefly that it only goes forwards. Once it hits an object, that's it, no more monkeying around. Were it able to go into reverse, this would get the full five stars.

Not a terrible product.

This toy is pretty good. Really bright and loud and moves really well. My little boy loves watching it. I wouldn’t say it makes him want to move but it’s early days. This would have got 5 stars but unfortunately it turns itself off. You cant push the button to get the thing moving you have to switch it on and off. Which becomes annoying. Other than that. Really well made, really noisy and fun. Fast delivery.

Worked for less than 3 months

My daughter really liked this toy to begin with, but I've now had to take it off her. I can't bear the look of disappointment on her face when she brings it to me to make it work, and I can't Still rolls around, but with no noises
