Briggs & Stratton snow blower skids

Excellent product. Would purchase again

Metal Snowblower Skid Plates

These skid plates are much sturdier than the plastic plates that were OEM on my Briggs and Stratton snowblower. The only complaint I had was they were not universal fit, so I had to move the mounting bolts by drilling new attachment points to get these to fit.

Exactly what I needed

This is the correct size for my Atlas snow blower.

It's good, but you may need to drill

I think these skids are better than the original. They are longer and heavier. The distance between bolt slot centers is 2.5", mine was originally 2.125" oc. I would have given 5 stars but I had get out the drill, so I gave 4. They are durable and inexpensive.

Expected a pair of skids.

Received an opened box with only 1 skid. I figured it would be a pair but I can't confirm in the listing. Ended up ordering another one. This time the box was sealed and only 1 skid. They both fit perfectly and will probably outlast the snow blower. Raising my review to 3 stars, still disappointed with only receiving one and knowing I could have bought a 2-pack for less money.

Exact Replacement

This unit was an exact fit for my 27" Brute snow thrower.

Better quality than oem part.

Perfect fit, replaced original skid. This part is thicker than the oem part. Should out last the snowblower.

Poor quality not worth the money

Installed the skid shoes 1st week in January s after three significant snowfalls in the northeast I noticed a very rough shaking while clearing 3 inches from a paved driveway. Upon checking the snowblower the skid shoes have actually bent in several directions and metal has split. Very poor quality waste of money
