Not for short people
They tend to slip off the pants from time to time, and the adjustment is useless. I can tighten it up and a minute later it's back like it was. Otherwise I do like the product, but I would make improvements.

heavy-duty work suspenders
These are not ordinary fashion/dress suspenders, they are robust, heavy-duty work suspenders for tradesmen. The straps are 2" wide and despite being full elastic for their entire length, they are a lot less stretchy than regular elastic dress suspenders - they can hold up heavy work pants and a tool belt as others have mentioned. These are also available in 'partial elastic' and 'no elastic' style, but those will offer less comfort and compliance - I find these firm enough...if anything I wish they were more stretchy. The metal hardware is black (anodized?) steel - the black color goes well with the red and is a neat alternative to the more common silver or gold. The bottom clips have jagged teeth with slightly rounded tips that dig into your pants to give a very secure grip but they do leave slight 'bite marks' but don't seem to do any serious damage. They hold much more securely than the round plastic grips that some fashion suspenders use. The upper clamps which adjust the length of the suspenders allow very quick and easy adjustment, but they open up too easily. But so far they never became loose on me while I was wearing these suspenders so it doesn't seem to be a real problem.

One size does not fit all
These are foe a child,I am 5'8" and the adjustment flange on both sides was way down almost to my belt line,usually the adjustment is good about 2 inches from my shoulder.These also made of plastic and are very Sharpe when bending down to pick up anything it Jabs you in the stomach and I am not heavy by any means 5'8" 160.

LONGER LENGTH
My husband was trying to find longer length suspenders. Those are difficult to find. These give the extra length he was looking for and can still be shortened to the size of regular suspenders. If you are looking for a set that is longer in length, this is the one you want to get.

They are a perfect fit and look Great
I like everything about them, I do not need wear a belt now, they fit perfectly, They feel very comfortable with the 2 inch width on my shoulders, they are secure, made to last, they Look Great the Colours are beautiful and brilliant and the most important they do their job by holding my pants up. I have received many compliments about them.

They fabric is sturdy and the sewing/construction looked as though they would be ...
They fabric is sturdy and the sewing/construction looked as though they would be just what my husband wanted. However, one of the clips is much looser than the other 3, and so is constantly popping off which is very frustrating and not helpful at all. This was the first time we ordered them, so I don't know if this set of suspenders is faulty or if the quality control on this product in general is not good.
