The perfect onesie!

I bought the mauve and lavender colored onesies in size 18-24 month for my 14 month old daughter. She's 50th percentile for weight and 95th percentile for height. I'm 5'7 and her father is 6'4 so we have 3 tall babies! I always have to buy everything one size up due to their height. I love the thickness and softness of these, and despite what some of the photos show, it is just the two snaps on one side of the neck. The neck hole is the PERFECT size, not too big, not too small, and it doesn't stretch out. Even when it's full of slobber from a girl whose getting molars, still not stretching out! She's still got a bit of room in the width and length of the onesie, but the arms are snug. They are not tight, just snug. In our case, it's a good thing. She always has her hands in her mouth and it prevents the whole "teething wet-baggy-sleeve" syndrome. I can see how some other reviewers who have (ADORABLE) chubbier babies do end up have some issues with the arms being a bit TOO snug when they purchase the onesie according to proper size recommendations. I'd say size up and give it a shot! These are perfect, thick, soft, organic, and come in beautiful colors. AND, I waited two weeks to post my review in order to see how they wash... Lemme tell ya, they wash extremely well. The printed logo/size on the inner back of the onesie does come off in the wash but I can't see why that would bother anyone. It's on the inside of the onesie and cannot be seen when it is being worn.

Great grape juice the material is soft! I've been a L'oved baby fan ever since I took my newborn daughter into the doctor's office, wearing their kimono bodysuit (the thing I "L'oved" about that was the incredible ease getting her into and out of her clothes so that the doctor could check her). I admit that I was eagerly awaiting the new organic line. I am by no means a strictly organic everything kind of person, but I was impressed with the quality of their other products (of which I have stockpiled plenty - planning for the siblings), so I thought I'd give it a shot. I bought a long-sleeve body suit and a pair of the leggings and they did not disappoint. I got the same great design and quality but the bonus softness of the fabric was AWESOME! My poor daughter probably wanted nothing to do with snuggling but I couldn't resist. She had great mobility and on those cold winter days, she was snug as a bug. I look forward to my next shipment from the L'ovedbaby Organic Line, as well as their Cotton Basics.

Smaller than other items of same brand, style, and size

This white long sleeved bodysuit was my 5th of this style to purchase and I was amazed at how much smaller it was than others. In general I think L'oved Baby products run a size smaller than other brands, but this is small even within the brand and style. I bought this in 12 month to size up for my baby but it fits smaller than a navy striped 9 month one we already owned. I especially noticed the difference in the sleeves which were extremely tight on my baby's arms. I've included pictures to show the difference. The navy striped is 9 months and the slate striped and white are both 12 months. The quality is the same as all our other L'oved Baby items, but I took two stars away because it ran so small.

Super soft!

Cute but tight arms for chunky baby's

This onsie is so cute and I love the color but itwas hard to get on my large 6.5 month old (90th percentile for height and weight) and I bought size 12-18 months. The arms are pretty tight on my little chuck but fit elsewhere Well.

Great quality, size up

This is really high quality fabric and very cute design! The sizing for this company is kind of all over the place. This one seems to run only a little big, our 3 mo old is in 6/9 mo and it fits nicely. I love this piece, the hooded romper and the regular rompers from lovedbaby and will continue to buy. Be cautious of sizing though!

Great onesie

This onesie is so soft and comfortable feeling! I love the organic cotton. The size fit perfectly - in brands like Carters my son is just growing out of his 9 month clothing and into 12 month clothing which is a tiny bit big. This fit him well & he has a little room to grow too. The snaps on the shoulder made it easier to get off and on. This is a very well made piece of clothing.

While the onesie is awesome, be warned that the Bark color is a greenish-brown, not a brown as it appears in the picture. It was fine for what I needed but I was looking for this for a halloween costume so color was important. Great onesie though!
