Check the size chart
I always have trouble sizing ballet shoes so thank goodness for free returns. The size chart is somewhat helpful but even that is sometimes off. The different types of dance shoes all have different sizing rules and I can’t keep track of them so I buy 2 sizes in each and simply return the ones that don’t fit. Other than sizing difficulties these are very nice shoes and I appreciate that they don’t have to be tied. They are comfortable and they look very nice.

As expected
The media could not be loaded. I ordered after reading the reviews. I've never worn ballet slippers and do not know how they are supposed to feel. I wanted a pair for a "working in the office" shoe. I'm normally a women's size 9 so I ordered a size 7 wide (I have wider feet). I heard they stretch but right now they hug my ankles almost too tight and have enough room to wiggle my toes. I say almost too tight because I can definetly feel them cutting off circulation slightly but I have a sensitivity to this so I'm sure for most it's dine. The stitching doesn't seem very careful but they also do not itch on the inside for me. Probably fine for those with sensitivities because the fabric on the inside that does "stick out" is soft. The tag says made in Cambodia, I don't know if that's important to anyone. And there is enough room in the heel to pinch a quarter of an inch in. I don't need these to be tight for my purposes, just thought I'd be thorough.

Haven't used them yet, but
When they arrived, they looked so small, for a second I thought I was going to have to return them. But I tried them and they fit! Yay! I walked around and hopped around and they felt comfortable too. Based on someone else's review, I decided to get size 6 (M). I usually wear size 7.5 or 8 in women's. I didn't go for narrow, I went for medium (M) because usually when I'm trying on heels, I have a bit of a hassle wiggling my foot through narrow shoes, and I'm talking stick-narrow shoes like Vans for women. But I also knew I didn't have a wide foot. My mother does and sometimes when we've gone heel-shopping she HAS to get her sizes with a (W) next to it, and I don't. So I had some background to choose from and used logic from there. I hope that mini-process-of-choosing-a-size description can help you put yourself in some sort of position to choose a size yourself. It can be annoying when shoes arrive and don't fit. This is my first time buying shoes online and I was reluctant but I'm glad I managed. I will say that maybe the straps are a teesny-weensy minuscule-bit too tight. Not the type of tight that hurts, but the type of tight where you're scared that if you make a move that is too hardcore it's going to rip. But that's probably just part of the shoe being a DANCE shoe, the strap is elastic of course. Can't say how long they'll last, but it looks and feels like a good brand.

Great ballet slippers for wider feet or those who want extra room in the toe box
I love these ballet slippers. A major selling point for me was the extra room in the toe box. My feet are about average width, but due to some past foot injuries from soccer, I don't like to wear shoes that are tight in the toes (as ballet shoes usually are meant to be). The only drawback is that they stretched more than I expected (probably about one full size), but then again I really didn't know how much stretching to expect because I've never worn canvas ballet slippers before. So, aside from my own ignorance concerning how much the fabric would stretch, they are almost perfect for me. Update: Once they had gotten dirty from frequent wear, I decided to wash them to both clean them and shrink them a little. I put them in a lingerie bag in a front-loading washing machine on warm, delicate cycle, with some regular laundry detergent, and then let them air dry. They shrunk a bit just like I'd hoped, back to roughly their original size. After I wore them a few more times, however, they stretched out again. So, I decided to order another pair in a smaller size. After trying on several different lengths and widths, I finally settled on a 6C. After wearing them about 5 times, they seem PERFECT - not crunching my toes but no extra fabric bunching up around the toes. For reference, I wear an 8.5 (regular width) in most street shoes (flats and boots), and my Nike running shoes are about a 9.5.

Surprise! They are a D!
These are my first ballet shoes in many years, as I took a long break from dancing, and they fit well by accident. I wear a 6.5 to 7 and have widish feet but don't usually need wide sizes. I was debating between 4D and 4.5C, and as there was no width listed for the 4.5 I figured they were C (medium). Actually, they arrived and were labeled 4.5D. I probably could have taken the 4D, but the 4.5 fits pretty well and the wide width works fine. Nice shoes too, wide enough in toes but not too wide in heels.

My favorite shoe!
I love this shoe!! It hugs my foot perfectly and the color matches my skin. The only downside is that the elastics start fraying and sometimes pop off, but with the amount of dance I do every day the whole shoe (around the toes) wears through as quickly as any other brand of flat shoe, so it doesn't bother me.

Fit is two full sizes down, durable, fairly comfortable
I had to exchange them twice to get the right size. It says to get two sizes smaller than normal shoe size, and that is right. I’m normally a 5½ regular and finally got the right fit with Size 3½. I love the split sole, and these do fit well. A couple of things though: It doesn’t conform well to my heel. Even at the right size there’s a little extra space in the bottom part of the heel. The toes feel a little cramped in the width, but I needed narrow for the arch support. The arch support though isn’t as strong as I thought it would be, and I thought there would have been a lot better metatarsal arch support. All that said, I do like them. They are pretty too.

Good product
I only tried it, didn’t get to use it but they fit great when I tried them on.

Love the colour, horrible elastic placement
I loved these shoes and the colour is what drew me in The elastics have no stretch to them so they dig into my feet. They’re also very bulky in the heel. Had to buy new elastics so hopefully if I sew them further enough down it will pull the heel up. If anyone else has these issues and have figured out a way to make them work let me know how!

Narrow is B width not A
We wanted to love these. The shoe looked great. The elastics were really nice, and sturdy in comparison to so danca sd16 (what she normally wears) and I like the gore in the mid foot so it looks less wrinkly when you point, but when you order a N width, you get sent B width. Bloch has four widths, A, B, C and D. I suppose C is standard and narrow is B, but it’s not labelled on Amazon as such. It was far too wide for my daughter’s narrow feet. Length was a bit long, but would have been fine if the width worked. She wears a women’s 6-6.5 and was swimming in the 4N (4B). I’ll give it 4 stars because if the sizing was labelled correctly on Amazon, it would have been great.

Really nice shoes, but too much fabric in the heel area
I really like the way these shoes fit, feel and look, except for the heel area. There is a bulge of excess fabric in the heel that going with a smaller size wouldn't eliminate. I wear a size 8-8.5 in street shoes and the Pro Elastics in a 6.5 fit perfectly everywhere except the heel. They were a fantastic price, so I took a chance and even with the excess fabric in the heel, I find them comfortable and acceptable for day to day use. The Pro Elastics are very similar in look and feel to the Bloch Synchrony, but the Synchrony remains my preferred shoe because of its excellent overall fit.

Long fit
I typically wear a size 9, but I ordered the 8.5. The width is perfect (I have wide feet) but the length is too long for my feet. I would be careful to measure the length of your foot because it's important when selecting dance shoes. Overall, the quality and comfort are great!

So comfortable!
Love these dance slippers! I usually wear a 8 1/2 wide or 9 regular in street shoes but took everyone's advice and ordered these in a smaller size (7 D). They're a perfect fit and so very comfortable, I'd wear them all day.
