Love it!
I have to admit I almost packaged this up and sent it back when I first got it. It seemed huge, and like it would be awkward to use. Well, my attitude completely changed after trying it out. This keeps pressure down on the workpiece, and it's also very easily to exert lateral force for guiding your piece along the fence. It really feels like an extension of your hand after using it a bit. The spring-loaded holder at the rear is well designed. From 1/16" to whatever, this grabs hold of the edge of your work without having to mess with anything. It's very nice to not have to think about such nuances. My only complaint so far is switching out the bottom rubber soles. The fit is very tight, although I suspect this will loosen up over time. Overall, a very well thought out and executed design. Well worth the price IMO. Update December 2017: This still remains one of my favorite push sticks. I decided to order a second one after buying a new joiner. If you've ever tried to push half inch stock that's maybe only an inch and a half tall through a joiner, there's next to no options for push sticks. The big giant flat pads are extremely awkward for a situation like this. This particular push stick has a 90° cut out in extra rubber bottom, which may not be readily apparent from the picture. This allows you to push down on the outer edge of a workpiece, so for something like the joiner it's perfect. You can keep your piece up against the fence (to insure a square cut) and also keep downward force. The push stick is long enough, and by design tends to put forward pressure on the stick, so it keeps the pressure on the outfeed table where you need and want it. With two of these they become extensions of your hands. The grip is firm enough that you can keep forward motion going, and reposition the second one on longer boards if needed. Works great for router tables too! I can also say there's been plenty of times where I've put 3 or 4 inch long pieces through the table saw, and I'd never dare do that with the traditional push stick, maybe with the gripper brand, but not anything else. It's no problem for this push stick, it grabs tight.

Better than a regular push stick. and safer
I volunteer at a Maker Space, and someone had donated one of these push sticks. I tried it, and was sold on its increased level of safety when ripping short, narrow boards. No more fiddling with a standard push stick an another stick to hold a board tight to the fence. When I certify members on our SawStop table saw, I make sure to show this to people, and get them used to using it. It's a little ezpensive for what it does, but I was impressed enough that I bought one for my shop.

My go-to push stick!!
I like these so much that I have 3 of them: one that is chewed up from blades in cutting thin pieces, one that is in good shape, and one unused as a stand-by. I do like the spring-loaded heel piece for pushing pieces by the blade (it simply retracts if you put the thing in the middle of a piece of wood) and I like the choice of either a flat or V-notch rubber treads. I keep the V-notch tread on for both flat pieces (grips better) and edges. Length is good for holding pieces down. The handle is very comfortable in my hand (your mileage may vary!) The only down side is that the rubber treads can move laterally in their dovetailed slots, but that is not a big issue of you apply force properly.

Pretty good, could be taller
It works as described. Personally, I would like a handle that is higher and further from the blade. I would also like a guards that extend out to the sides just below the finger hole. I don't know that they would do much if the push stick were to slide off of the work piece and down toward the blade (and wouldn't need to if the handle was higher) but would make me feel better. The rubber grip strips and the spring loaded catch that drops down behind the work piece (when at the end of the work piece) work well, at least at this time. When the rubber strips get dryer over time they may not work so well but presumably one can buy replacements though I have not seen them. I do think I will look for some way to protect the extra strip from ozone and UV and such and thereby extend its life.

Safest push stick.
I have used DIY, Variety of commercial push sticks, and this is best by far. The rubber tread grips wood. The spring loaded heel is deep enough to not slip over top of thick boards, yet compresses for thin stock. The flat rubber tread best for flat stock, the v-shaped tread for router table and holding stock against saw or router table fence. The dovetail to hold the rubber tread works, but after using one of these push sticks, , I bought a second push stick. I leave a flat tread on one, a v-retread on the other. I can grab whichever works best, rather than switch treads.

Good push stick
I have been using homemade push sticks for years and they have been working fine for me. I saw this and wanted to try it out. The big difference is the rubber pad on the bottom. It really provides better contact (grip) which improves control. Its a well made push stick so now my homemade sticks are hanging on the wall collecting dust.

Big
This thing is huge. The base is 13" long and it is 8" tall to the highest point. That would be fine for some applications, but it is likely too clumsy for the small parts that I will be working on with a compact router table. I did not open the package because I knew it would be going back as soon as I saw it, but it looks well made and if I was working on furniture I would definitely keep it.

Not made in the USA
I received the item and I was very disappointed to discover the item is made in China when the product description clearly indicates made in the USA. Whenever possible, I think it is important to buy made products made in North America, even if it means paying more for an item. Although this item might be a good product, to me it's a matter of principle and for that reason, I am planning on returning this product.

Tool designs 10230 Power Hamds push stick.
At first glance when opening the package, it would appear to be large and ungainly. However, in use it turns out to be perfect in functionality. As you become more familiar with the push stick, you can refine the feel of control to keep your work securely gripped between the stick and the fence. This is equally applicable to using it with a table saw or a router, (with the appropriate rubber grip,) An excellent addition to your woodworking aids.

Safe item pretty well made
Equipped with spring loaded backer to adjust with the thickness of the item to be cut. Good gripping devices (2), strongly recommend this tool.

Impressed!
Impressed with how well it's built. Works way better than 2 other ones that I used. Pricey but you get a piece of safety equipment that will be used instead of lyind in a corner because it doesn't feel much safer to use it than not. This tool makes a difference to preserve your fingers integrity!

Takes a bit getting use to
Good, well made for a plastic item, and has replaced parts so I’m happy with it except it’s not as smooth to use as I would like, perhaps it’ll get better as I get use to using it
