Tommie Tippie Fans!

We like these bottles a lot and the colors are fun. The only down-side is that they are a pain to wash. I think they are probably equivalent to the cleaning process of Dr. Browns (also a pain). I do believe that the anti-colic feature does work as he doesn't seem to get a ton of air in his belly.

Our favorite bottle but bad batch this time

Pro: - disperses bubbles - great for babies with reflux - easy to hold - babies latch well - great for travel - fits in standard bottle warmers - temperature gauge prevents burns Con: - several parts for cleaning - can leak if parts are not checked each time - received one bad bottle with this purchase My twins love their Tommee Tippee Advanced bottles! Both of them have reflux (yay for us) and these bottles help my babies from having more spit up than they already do. The reduced bubbles really helps and my babies no longer have the major gas pains they used to get from drinking Neosure. If you know anything about Neosure (a preemie specific formula this is high in protein), you know this is quite the feat! It is very important to read the instructions for these bottles and check the valve each time you serve milk. We like to tap the end of the valve on our palms before putting it in to the bottle to ensure the valve is open. This has saved us from having leaks. This valve is the key to the reduced bubbles so it’s important to take care of it! Unfortunately, we received one bottle this time that is just leaky no matter what. I have done everything I can to ensure the valve is in good condition. I’ve followed every step in their troubleshooting FAQ. For some reason, the center tube keeps filling with liquid and then spilling milk all over my baby. We have 7 other good bottles so I’m convinced this one is just faulty. Even worse, we ordered this two pack to be delivered at the twins’ grandparents house for their first overnight trip away from home and I didn’t send them with any backup bottles of the same brand. We ended up having to buy another Tommee Tippee Advanced bottle from the store the next day, which was an added hassle that took away from the twins’ time with their grandparents AND one of my babies had bad gas pains from drinking from a regular bottle in the meantime. What a bummer! Again, we love these bottles but just make sure you always check the valve! They’re worth it but you do have to take care to do that extra step.

Invaluable in feeding breastmilk only, with flawless transition between bottle and breastfeeding; even daily!

I have exclusively my son since birth. However, for the first few weeks, he had a hard time latching on (he was born a "tongue-sucker" and with an high palate) and took him a couple of weeks (and many lactation consults,assertive devices, and tears before success. while he ended a great nurser, I was warned by many "professionals and family against any bottle feedings. however, I had to return to woks seeks after birth, and only way I could give him breastmilk only was to pump and have my mother feed him from bottle several times a day. i purchased several different bottle brands, (Advent, and others advertised to avoid nipple confusion and mimics the breast; including "Tommee Tippee Closer to Nature" bottle, (Be careful package is labeled "Sensitive Tummy Bottle" with picture of tube and valve system, which is critical in reduction off air bubbles that can cause air bubbles in tummy, discomfort, and increased spit up. Additionally, it makes a "whistle" sound if improperly fed and valve turns red if temperature rises above 98°F. All these features resulted in the only bottle which reduced/eliminated extra air in tummy, decreased spit up, and was able to successfully alternate between bottle and breastfeeding. The bottle needs to be assembled exactly per instructions, which took a bit to master, but crucial for it to work. From six weeks old and continuing currently at 12 months old; they have held up, and he still successfully uses. The only negative but avoidable issue I found was the small, clear, wheel-shaped bottom piece of valve blends in with water when washing, is and I have lost a few. I have not found replacements to buy, so had to purchase of few extra bottles to replace it. Although frustrating at time- in the end was nice to have entire new bottles, which are affordable. The bottles themselves have a wide opening and any standard bottle brush works. The valves and nipples need to be cleaned with a specific narrow brush, (included with every bottle purchased), but entire bottle is simple to clean. If purchase a bottle warmer, make sure the width dimensions allow the bottle to fit inside. finally, I cannot stress how these bottles are HUGE factor in the success I had returning to work, transition daily feedings between bottle and without infant discomfort or refusal to feed either way!

Saved my sanity

At around a month old we switched my baby from regular avent bottles to these tommee tippee's. Two months later and we are still going strong. Colic wise- my baby had pretty decent colic for weeks. He would arch his back and scream uncomfortably for 2-4 hours every night. After switching to the most expensive hypoallergenic formula without a lot of relief from screaming we were at our wits end with what to do. I tried these bottles on a whim and I am so glad I did. My baby was like night at day within the first bottle. I have questioned the need for these bottles a few times and tried to switch back to avent and it's always very clear that my son needs these. Cleaning/ease of use- these really aren't terrible to clean. I can usually clean and sterilize a set of 8 bottles in 15 minutes or less. It is more work than regular bottles but it is so worth it. Be sure to watch the demo video on tommee tippee's website showing you how to use and clean these. As other reviewers have pointed out, you must always make sure the air vent isnt sealed shut. This doesn't take much effort at all- I just pinch the star tip before placing the vent system into the bottle. I do still occasionally have issues with the nipples collapsing, but that is few and far between.

I like these. Baby did not.

I really wanted my baby to like these. They are well made and seems like they are very nice bottles but, my breast fed baby refused ALL bottles. I would purchase as gifts for other moms that would like nice bottles.

Good bottles , just didn't work for my young baby

I love these bottles and wanted them to work but I think thd nipple is too big on these , my 2 month old was leaking so much milk out of his mouth during Feeds, he was wearing half the bottle soaking through bibs :/ he doesn't do this with the flat mam bottle nupples. Otherwise I like the design of these bottles maybe il try them again when he's bigger

On aime

J'adore ces biberons, j'en ai acheté 8! Bébé aime beaucoup aussi, c'est le plus important. L'indicateur de chaleur est pratique. Les reflux ont diminué et bébé aime la tétine. Seul point négatif, on ne peut enlever la valve, sinon le biberon ne ferme pas. Avoir su avant, je n'en aurait pas acheté autant.

Bottle leaks and its really frustrating!

These bottles leak so bad despite being very careful when assembling. I was using the Phillip's Advent and those bottles were really good. Bought these as I thought the offer was good. I should have just ordered 1 to try first in instead of 2.

Las mamilas preferidas de mi bebe

Las tommee tippee son los biberones favoritos de mi bebe y estos no son la excepción pero en realidad prefiero los normales, estos tienden a generar una clase de vacío y se hunden así que en la toma tiene que desprenderse varias veces para que vuelva a su forma normal y continuar bebiendo. Sin embargo son una mejor opción que otras marcas del mercado
