Amazing!

James arrived in some very nice packaging and looks fantastic just like the pictures!

He’s a very useful engine

My son has been an absolute train nut since he arrived at the station called “birth”. lol. Any kind of trains. Diesels, “steamies” electric it doesn’t matter. Kid knows more about trains than a conductor. But his favorite is still Thomas. He knows he’s getting a little old for it, but he’s not letting go yet. And James is his first love. So this was a Easter reward for acing his religious studies at church. He loves it. Train looks exactly like the picture, great detail and color. Fast and steady. Gotta deduct a star because he does have a tendency to occasionally fall off the track. Maybe a bit too fast or light. All in all a very nice train. And a very happy little boy. Highly recommend. Expensive and broke easy

The piece on the front broke off and the thomas face on thomas doesn't stay. Not worth the price charging. You are better off with the track masters if it's for you kid.

My Son Loves The engine

We have been collecting the Bachmann Trains Thomas And Friends collection over the years . James is a little lighter that the larger of the collection . He has a little trouble pulling the lager loads , but my son will load him down and after his wheels slip a little , he gets rolling.We had another Bachmann engine break down , but Bachmann Factory Service was great to deal with and resolved our issues. Jams will be one year old in our collection in 11 days ! Still pulling fine !

This train brought back so many childhood memories I had. For $75, this was the best thing I’ve ever bought! I highly recommend it for anyone, especially for the young ones! Also, it shipped really fast!!!

Dodgy

For such an expensive train and meant to be genuine, it doesn’t seem to be. Like other comments mention, comes apart when it shouldn’t. The front wheels are flimsy, aren’t tight enough so flop around thus train keeps coming off the track. This was a present for my brother with autism and he’s very upset and thinks it’s his fault. I can’t figure out how to contact the buyer or anyone about this.
