Poor quality cover

The cover that came with the burner is junk. 2 months in the FL sun and wind and it has holes. The burner is a quality product!

Probably hotter than I needed, but I love it so far

Trying to cook Chinese stir fry on a regular gas stove just doesn't cut it. And now my new house doesn't have gas. I really wanted to be able to cook stuff on high heat and got this burner. Honestly, I was looking for really high BTU, not really knowing exactly how much I needed. But it's better to have more than less. There's no gauge, but I'm probably only turning this up 20-40% to cook on a wok. Any higher and your food will burn, not to mention your arm hair. I've had it almost a year and it's held up outside, with the cover, under some protection from the weather. The black paint does flake over time. The only other negative is the air vent dial is hard to turn, and now it's stuck. Will probably be fine with a little WD40. The height is fine for me or anyone under 6' tall. A nice DIY upgrade would be to put a shelf on the bottom and put the burner on casters. I do find myself having to move it around from time to time.

Took two "used-like-new" to mix-and-match parts to get it right

I purchased a "used like new" burner and it had a broken hose connector stem out of the box. The stem was rattling around inside the burner otherwise I would not have known any different in a bad sort of way. The warehouse didn't check to see if it had defects when first returned, or didn't read why it was returned. Before returning the first one I purchased a second "used like new" which had a mangled up air inlet cover and a number of the pot/wok support bars across the top were not welded to the support ring. Someone tried but the bars pulled away from the weld. So, I swapped the hose of the second with the hose from the first giving me a complete unit and sent back the rest with notes explaining what is wrong with each part so that it would not be sold again "used like new". I'm happy now.

Good value with a few flaws

Positives: Really good value for this outdoor burner. I use it to sear steaks and cook other foods that creates large amount of smoke. I measured 600 deg F on my cast iron pan in a few minutes. Negatives: On a windy day, the burner will be blown out, so you will have to light the flame again. The included cover is nice for but does not protect against rain since the cover will leak moisture. If you dont protect the burner from moisture, it will rust. If your surface is uneven, the burner will wobble. The steel braided hose provided is nice, but it sticks out from the front.

Versatile super burner

As others have commented this really puts out the heat. Note that under windy conditions you may want to create or find some shelter for burner. I use this primarily for wok or stockpot cooking and it works great. Also is great for frying with lard & other "smelly foods" -- as it's outside. This is NOT good for long slow cooking IMO, as if burner is low enough, even a slight breeze will blow out flame. Very portable -- good addition for car camping.

Favorite new burner

This has become my wok burner. The first couple tries it takes some getting use to with the temp control, but that’s expected with any new burner. You don’t need it at full blast and that took some adjusting. However when you get the hang of it, it is really unbeatable. You can’t go wrong with it if it’s what your looking for. People buy these with a vision in mind, this will meet it if you want high heat and good food.

Bought for Wok cooking and works great

i know it's not it's intended use but from the reviews i decided to go for one and get it sent over to the UK. Glad i did as i love it, no paint peeling yet so maybe that's the occasional use it gets. However I did modify mine as i'd done a few cooks with it out of the box new and could see if the hair pin shaped iron (over flame) bars were not keeping my wok about 3" above the flame it could be a good deal hotter so after a bit by bit chop with my metal loppers i ended up cutting down to the circle wall of the burner (that is clearly visible) result was a much quicker/hotter beast with a good upgrade in temperature and swiftness of use for my style (street type wok cooking) so well please with this beast. The welds everyone mentions don't worry me to much with light weight use like this (my wok is a large one) and it's not as if i'm boiling up gallons and gallons of wort like a lot of people that purchase these. Would reccomend and buy again.

Arrived damaged

Arrived damaged, 2 out of the 4 bolts holding the burner in place were stripped and unusable. Waited 3 months for it to arrive. Disappointing

B3600H propane stove

I don't know what the hell thickness, warmth and sheerness in Amazons ratings have to do with the product, however, I can say item was extremely easy to set up, works well in that it got my maple syrup to a rolling boil in no time. Just don't use more than the btu you need so you don't unnecessarily use propane as used at full it will use a lot of propane.

Great burner, puts out a lot of heat!!!

The burner for what I use it for is amazing. One of the nice things I like about it is, it is not that loud. Compare to the burner I usually, which is a jet burner, this thing is very quiet. I am originally from Louisiana, had a large yard and driveway that I could use it on away from others. I now live in Singapore on the ground floor unit of a condominium and when I told my wife my plans, she was absolutely against it and said I would get fined. The first time I used it, she came out on the patio and asked if it was even on. We can sit within about 10 feet of it and have a normal conversation which I could not do with the jet burner back in La. Like many other reviewers have said on here, the flames do come out of the side around the edges of the pot when you really crank it up, but even my burner back in La. did the same thing when you turned it up. I have used it to fry turkeys and boil seafood and it gets water boiling very fast and oil up to temp much quicker than my old burner. I love it and would recommend to anyone.

Not for wok cooking

While the BTUs on this is great, this stove is NOT for wok cooking. The heat is dispersed around the circle which means it's not hot enough to give the wok hey. We ended up upgrading to a proper wok burner
