Nice jacket

This is a pretty nice kids jacket. It does seem like it runs a little big. But gives growing room. Nice quality and warm

runs a bit big but soft and warm

i got this for my daughter who's almost 6. it does fit a little loose on her but that's a good thing. i usually try to buy her clothes with a little extra room for growing. i wouldn't call this oversized but it does extend past her waist. if you want a more fitted look maybe size down. the fleece is nice and soft and feels warm. the color is cute but the front pocket area looks a little out of place with the flower design with the rest being solid fuchsia. my daughter seems to think its cute though so if she's happy that's all that matters. the quality seems to be good as mine didn't have any loose stitching or zipper issues. i think this is a great fleece especially at this price.

Runs big. Soft, lightweight but warm

This is a nice, soft, lightweight but warm fleece with full length zipper. I think it will be great for fall and winter layering, however I wish there was a proper size chart provided in the listing to make choosing the correct size easier. I was deciding between size XS and S for my 5 year old. In most brands size XS is getting too small for him so I ordered size small. Unfortunately, this size small is way too big. The tag says S (8). Overall workmanship is good but the interior sewn-in size tag is cut crookedly and has a sharp edge. All in all, I’m pleased I ordered this fleece for my son. Once he grows into it I will trim or cut out the sharp edged tag and I think he will get a lot of wear out of it.

Good quality item, great for layering

The cut and fit, zippers, and materials of the Arctix Kids Birch Printed Pocket Fleece in Violet Haze are all great quality. It is an excellent fleece on its own or for layering under a rainshell. The main front zipper stitching on the item I received wasn't perfect when it arrived, though, and by the third wash it is starting to pull apart. Luckily, there are two lines of stitches in this area and the second one will hold it, but it's unfortunate that the stitching is failing at the most used and visible area of this item. Hopefully someone was able to adust that sewing maching and this was just a fluke, because I've ordered a few other outerwear items from Arctix and have been very happy with the quality of them. I would still recommend this item and purchase other items from this company with confidence.

Sizes Run Big. A Med is Actually a 10/12 in this Brand.

Other than the fact that this brand is sized big, it's a nicely made fleece. I forgot that this brand sizes differently. Usually a youth Medium is a 7/8, but not in this brand. A Medium in this brand is a 10/12, which is usually a size Large in most other brands. What's not helpful is there wasn't a size chart/reference on the item's page when I ordered. They should really add one. Size aside, this seems like a well made fleece. It's soft and warm and the colors are nice and vibrant. I mean it will be a little while before this properly fits my kid, since she's actually a size 7/8. The zipper on this fleece does tend to stick up near the collar line. Everywhere else the zipper glides nicely, but just seems to catch at that spot when you zip up or down with it.

Super Soft & Comfortable

I got this in a size 6 & it runs a little bit but the kids always have room to grow in it so I’m not mad about that. It’s super soft & comfortable & I love the little design on the sleeve. Wouldn’t mind getting these in other colors.

True to size and warm

This is a great true to size fleece jacket. The dark blue color is nice and I like the little pop of pattern on the sleeve. My son likes it too and says it’s nice and warm for those not quite winter jacket worthy days.

Great winter shirt

I got this for my son and he really likes it. I got him his normal size and it fit perfectly. We’ve been having weather mood swings here in Ohio. One day it’s -25 with the wind chill the next day its’ 53. So this is a nice item to have on those days when you don’t need your heavy winter coat.
