Be aware this is a smaller ball for kids. Nephew loved it as a gift

Get slick fast

We used one only indoors and one outdoors. They both got slick pretty fast theough the season. They have shallow grooves. One regularly lost air as well. Good to burn up outside, but is go higher quality for serious indoor practice

The grip is kind of slick but it is good quality. For the price you can’t beat it!

Great ball for indoors.

For the price, this is well worth it. Kids play in a league and it works just fine for practices and shootarounds. Haven't played outdoors yet, but it works great for an indoor ball.

The great quality you expect from amazon

The two basket balls come deflated in this pack, so make sure you have a pump, I used an electric pump with a psi read out for this. The ball has instructions to pump to 7-9 psi, I pumped up to 8 and the ball is usable, it might bounce more at 9 psi. The ball looks and feels great, Amazon basics certainly does not mean an inferior quality. 5 stars

Basketball

This ball arrived inflated but did require some air to be added, it comes with a pump and valve to do this. It feels lighter than other basketballs I have used before. This is a intermediate ball and from research it is aimed towards younger players and woman as it is the ideal size for smaller hands. It has a textured surface which ensures grip even during play. It has a good bounce and should help develop their training and skills at home.
