Cute but big

I’m 5’5, 200lbs and 40DD - this dress fit fine in the busy area (bought a 16) but was really big in the torso and hips. Kind of hung there. The material is lovely though

Lovely fabric

This dress is very flattering! I have a very large bust, so I am used to having to purchase tops 2-3 sizes larger, but not this one. It’s cut very generous, so I will have it fitted all over, but easier to take in than let out, I always say. The length is barely below the knee, but I am 5’2’ and 61 years old. After a certain age, nobody wants to see much skin. It’s just a wonderful, floaty, pretty little dress.

Go down a size

I liked the dress, but I had to return it. It’s soft and flowy. Very lightweight, but lined and not too sheer. The problem was that it was shapeless, possibly because it was too big. Definitely go down a size and try that. I may reorder in a smaller size to see if that has more shape to it because it’s a really pretty dress and would be perfect for my event.
