Works for my hockey player

My son is a bantam and had never experienced lace bite before this year. He only was having the issue with one foot, but was in so much pain and we couldn’t figure out why (the skates were several months broken in). He has worn this under his sock to every practice and game since and swears it works like a miracle. The interesting part is he says it’s so comfortable that even when he has hours between games and takes his skates off to wear his shoes, he still leaves this on.

These are not black!

The pads that I got were not black. They were tan however it does what it’s supposed to do but I bought it because I wanted it in black. Also, it only comes with one sock so you have to buy two of these or choose which foot is hurting you most. The fact it only came it’s one didn’t bother me because my lace bite was only in my left ankle not my right so it didn’t really matter but I expected these to be black and they were tan which sticks out like a sore thumb.

Pricey but excellent

A little expensive however they REALLY work. Completely solved my lace bite issue. Absolute life savers.

Great Product! Helps with Lace Bite

I like my skates pretty tight and unfortunately I was getting a lot of late bite on my new inline hockey skates. These pads definitely helped alleviate most of the pressure I was feeling to make skating tolerable. A little expensive but kept me on my skates which was the end goal. Would purchase again. Please note, these are sold individually so buy 2.

ONLY COMES WITH ONE (doesnt say that anywhere)

ONLY COMES WITH ONE! That's why only 3 out of 5. It works WAY better than the normal bunga pads or similar thin cushion product. It's the same thing but about twice as thick. I love it but these things usually come in a pair, and NOWHERE on here does it say only one. Maybe just I got gypped but it was a major inconvenience because I bought these before a game and could only protect one metatarsal area.

I made the mistake of buying this item. $27 for one piece, outrageous. Had to return my purchase.

Pretty much perfect!

I use these in my goalie skates. Slip onto your foot, no issues. Gel insert a little sticky but no issues putting on. You can wash them. My biggest concern is would I feel the material on the bottom side of my foot during play. You feel nothing but the lacebite is gone. Highly recommend. Super easy fix for lace bite.
